The Mucky Duck Winchester - Winchester - Photo album

A lovely pub, very handy for the Theatre Royal, Winchester. The beer was great. The barmaid noticed that it was close to the end of a barrel, so got a new one set up and brought me over a delicious pint of real ale. All very friendly. We didn't try the food but the menu looked interesting
There is no food offer, so I can't judge it on that. Nice place. Seems to attract a slightly more mature crowd (40 somethings plus). It's had some work done on it over the past year or so, and it was a welcoming place to stay. Got a couple of tv's for sports (football was playing), but the music in
Great pub to watch sport. They always show international rugby and have a couple of screens outside. Gets busy on match days, and the atmosphere is great.
Fab pub with plenty on TVs to watch sport. Excellent garden and range of beers.
Great atmosphere, different sports on all the screens, so didn't miss any action, really friendly staff. Happy for us to order in food (even found us so cutlery)
Dropped in whilst walking the dog, sat outside as there was a pub quiz going on. Nice pint of ale, will return when there isn't a quiz on!
Just popped in for a couple pints near closing, friendly and informative bar staff ,nice beer cheers
Good service, the staff are very friendly. Tasty lunch at a reasonable price; some good gluten free options. Very nice ambience. Handy for the train station if you have a wait.
2nd time in Winchester, 2nd time in the Mucky Duck. Two lovely pints of San Miguel in the beer garden. I think a tradition has been established.
Loved this place. Chilled vibe. The dark grey decor was not out of place at all. Bar staff where friendly and loved the fun of throw a double get a free drink between 6 and 7 on a Monday or Tuesday!! Obviously we lost but hey, someone has to win!!!🤣
