Everything about it was perfect. From being greeted upon arrival, to drinks in the bar before the meal to wonderful food and service. Every course of the tasting menu was beautiful and complimented each other. To service was impeccable and we were made to feel special.

There have been so many versions of Great British menu I have actually stopped watching it. Apparently head chef Hrishi Desai used either all or some of this menu for his GBM entry. We actually came across the Gilpin hotel and Hrishi restaurant on the way back from a meal at L'enclume nearly a year
