The Tilly Bar And Kitchen - Windermere - Photo album

Doing a road trip from Edinburgh to London, we decided to stay here in Windermere for one night. We strolled the village to check out where to eat and decided on The Tilly. Their curry sounded too good to pass up so we both ordered it, one as a chicken curry, the other as a prawn curry. In both case
Popped in for brunch today. Great americano coffee followed by King Prawns and chorizo, Duck Spring roll with plum sauce & garlic bread. Absolutely delicious!! Great value for money and very pleasant location with cheerful staff all adds up to a nice experience and memory!
We were looking for a place where it would have a variety of food in Windermere area and we found this place. I had fish & Chips which was a huge and very good and the wife had some veggie Pizza which she liked. We also had some wine to start with and accompanied with some marinated olives which I l
My burger was turning heads on its way to my table, while on the capable hands of the kind waitress! It was probably the best burger I’ve had in my entire life. The goat cheese was so flavoursome and the pork almost did not require any chewing. Thank you for such a lovely dinner!
A lovely atmosphere and delicious food. There were vegan options on the menu but they were great at making adaptations. We had a pulled pork gluten free bun with salad and fries (no dairy) and loaded nachos with all the toppings. It was really good. I can't wait to visit again.
Wonderful evening at this cosy, warm, buzzing local restaurant run by Abigail and Liam who are absolutely lovely owners. Met them at the table next to us and had a wonderful interaction, learning a bit about Windermere and the surroundings. Food is great, just what you need and yet a wide variety of
Weve loved this restaurant so much we went back again. Lovely tasty food, considering it was busy excellent friendly service. Would recommend a visit!
Lovely place, great food and friendly staff. We liked it here so much we came a few times during our stay. Lots of gluten free options which are safe for coeliacs too. Delicious food!
Got there before they started evening service (our fault for not looking at the website, 5pm if you're wondering...). Had a decent pint while we waited, and the food was definitely worth waiting for. Excellent burger and the veggie chilli was spot on. Friendly service, great food, would definitely r
The food was surprisingly delicious. We ordered the ham pizza and grilled fish, all good!
Absolutely amazing food!!! Very Dog friendly as well as Celiac friendly. They had loads of gluten free and vegan options. Every single thing we got was absolutely delicious 😋 If we lived closer we would go every day !! HIGHLY RECOMMEND
Best fillet fish I had in the area, fresh, tasty and subtle. Very friendly and fast service!
I found my way here purely because it was close to my guesthouse. It was EVERYTHING I could have hoped for and MORE if I had obsessively scoured all of the internet for the best spot to get a meat pie and mash. The food was stellar, good portions but not so big that I didn't have room for a sticky t
Fantastic place to eat. We received a warm welcome and we’re quickly seated. The staff were amazing with a great sense of humour. We shared the pig platter with a couple of sides and it was all amazing. The pulled pork was some of the best I have tasted. Well worth a visit.
Great atmosphere and great food. I had the rolled pork belly and the pigs in blankets. Both amazing. Even during a busy dinner service everything was perfect. Don't have a dog, but they're dog friendly too!
The environment was nice and clean, though there were some massive flies flying around trying to get out. Must've been the food's delicious aroma that trapped them in the first place. Ordered a pigs platter and a parma ham pizza. It tasted quite fresh and delicious. The pigs platter was indeed a lo
Lovely lunch. The food was exceptional, large portions and served quickly. Also, gluten free options available and as big a portion as the normal menu which is sometimes an issue elsewhere. Highly Recommended.
Lovely little place to go dine, food is lovely, staff really friendly, service is spot on, will definitely be going back again when I go to Windermere.
