Little Chippy - Windermere - Photo album

The Little Chippy, our best local chippy in Bowness and Windermere! It’s tucked away down Beech Street opposite Old Codgers Cottage. They offer an amazing selection of food and it’s all so reasonably priced! My favourite order is chips, cheese and gravy and today I tried their battered haggis which
One of the best fish and chips I’ve ever had. Friendly and quick people
Busy on a Friday night, had the fish and chips for £10 which was great, a good sized portion (not sure if that is expensive or not these days). All menu photos on Google maps were way out of date.
Great food and friendly staff. Not many chippys I’ve been to that you can walk in 5 minutes before closing and still have a full choice from the menu and it be good food.
Absolutely wonderful fish and chips. Some of the best we have ever had. Fresh fish, crispy batter and delicious fluffy chips. Huge portions too. Perfect to eat looking out over the lake
Came here this evening after seeing postive reviews definitely recommended!!! Huge portions, delicious and tasty fish and chips! Curry was lovely and fruity. The man who worked in there (don't know if he owned the shop) took pleasure to ask how we was doing and asked us our plans and gave us place
Our fish and chips was very delicious. The price is worth it. The staff is very friendly and helpful! Please, support small, local businesses, they only accept cash, so get your change ready, because this fish and chips worth it!
Great small chip shop off the main shopping area in Windermere. Ordered the Haddock and Chips. Portions large, plenty of chips 2 lots were enough for 3 of us. Great curry sauce, and good mushy peas. Fish cooked to order with good crispy batter. Was quite busy with small queue
Pretty amazed I was offered Gluten free batter for my fish, don't get that any of my local chippys, tasted amazing too. Well done The Little Chippy, will definitely be back, the next time we are in the area
Hands down a must-try chip shop! The fish and chips is a must have lunch while you’re in Windermere! Lightly battered and absolutely delicious! Grab a side of the curry sauce to dip your fries in - it won’t disappoint! Mark is an incredibly friendly face with great recommendations if you’re looking
Best fish and chipps shop in this area. Reasonable price and very tasty especially the curry sauce. Only one problem is there is no dine in in this shop and no card payment only cash payment.
So, importantly, spam fritters use real spam, are decently thick and nice. Only downside is they were a bit greasy. Chips cooked well, nice fish and sausages. Prices not bad considering location. In case you miss the 7322 signs around the chippy though, be warned it is cash only. We were served
Friendly fish and chip shop. Had a large portion of fish and chips for £10. Worth noting they only accept cash.
Nice old building with a nice flower display outside. Service was fast and friendly. I just went for a regular chips for 2.30. I was allowed to add salt and vinegar to taste. Good sized portion.
The shop was extremely busy and yet my fish was ready in 10 mins and the owner even found the time to say some kind words to me. Great food, great service.
