My family and I went for dinner here a few weeks ago for my 21st birthday meal. The restaurant seems small but it’s very cosy and comfy. The waiter we had was lovely! I rarely write reviews but the experience was excellent. We attended the restaurant and bar, which had a very homely relaxed atmosphere, lovely staff who were very attentive. The staff are very welcoming and the open fire is lovely to sit by in the restaurant. We enjoyed the eggs benedict for breakfast and the table d'hote menu is small but there is enough choice.

Fantastic stay, free onsite parking, room was clean, all the staff were lovely & the evening meal was the best I have had in a long time, breakfast was good as well, I would not hesitate to recommend this place to anyone.

We tend to struggle going anywhere for Sunday Lunch because Mrs K does such a fantastic one I always leave disappointed! However that certainly was not the case here!

We went for a meal in the evening in the bar with my little Westie. The restaurant was charming, beautifully decorated the staff attentive and friendly. The food was superb and the best chips ever. Fabulous.
Great little dinner spot. Pleasant atmosphere for a lovely pub meal that’s unpretentious. We didn’t book a table and we’re quickly seated as walk-ins on a Saturday night.
The lamb special was absolutely melt in your mouth and the fish and chips was delicious.
