Went in afer reading all positive comments and wasn't disappointed! Food was delicious, portions were very big - I could hardly fit the main dish and we didn't have any starters and fair prices. Fast and friendly service. Worth visiting.

Excellent service and delicious food! The food is very delicious and has a wide variety. The style is beautiful. It is all freshly made. I highly recommend boiled pork slices and sushi. Sushi, in particular, tastes extremely good. The fish on salmon sushi is very fresh. I thought it was very greasy, but it's not like that at all. It tastes great dipped in mustard! Other flavors also have their own characteristics, which are really delicious! I must emphasize the excellent service of this restaurant! The service quality is very high. The staff are very warm and friendly. They ask customers what they need from time to time. Their attitude is extremely good. Let me feel at home! One of the girls with black and half long hair is very attentive and very positive! The restaurant owner is also very gentle! I will visit again. It's really a good experience in tourism!

Plentiful selection of Korean, Japanese and Chinese dishes. The menu was extensive so we asked for recommendations and went with Bibimbap, Katsu curry and salmon nigiri (see images). They came quickly and I’d rate the food 4/5 mainly because I wasn’t a fan of the Bibimbap beef - it was a little too thick/tough compared to others I have tried. The restaurant itself is pleasant - a smart/casual place and plenty of parking nearby. Service was top notch - friendly and welcoming. Overall, I was happy with the experience and would recommend trying it out.

Spicy yangnyeom chimaek that was a revelation in Bowness-On-Windermere. The decor is smart and the service sparkling. A revelation in these post Brexit days where one sees beloved eateries closing due to lack of staff. The food felt like they were pulling their punches to cater to expectations of what Pan-Asian food for the domestic palate. Which is not a bad thing as you’re likely to be satisfied. If you want the real thing then Manchester Airport is due South.

We tried this restaurant by chance but glad we did. Seating upstairs and down which is comfortable. Staff were friendly and helpful and shared opinions on menu choices. Service was good despite busy restaurant and food came quickly. Good menu choices and foot was well presented and tastey. Would definitely recommend and come again.

Had a dine in meal here yesterday. I lived in the Far East for years and the food here brought me back to my memories in Singapore. Great tasty authentic food and they had my favourite chilli oil. The staff were so friendly and helpful too. I definately recomend trying out this restaurant if you are in the area. Next time I am here it will be a must come again to try some more off the menu x

Big fan of Japanese and Chinese cuisine so West View was a perfect choice and was not disappointed. We had a Tempura King prawn starter a bit thicker batter than i have experienced before but very enjoyable. Mains was half duck and Chicken Katsu both very tasty and looked very appealing. Didn't try the Sushi but had a cheeky look at someone's order as it went by looked REALLY good. Service was attentive and welcoming. Nice decor, clean and comfortable 👌 I don't usually comment on tiolets but Japanese design tiolet seats with all the features and buttons it is those little touches that add to the experience. Hopefully get to visit again soon

Trying to get booked in to a decent restaurant in the Lake District at this moment in time is very difficult due to the ever growing popularity of this place however, our timing a few days back was perfect as someone tipped us off about this new restaurant that only opened on the 22nd August so the hoards of tourists had not yet found out about this little gem of a restaurant. At the time of our visit the restaurant was precisely 1 week old and had not as yet got its liquor license in place but that didn’t really matter to us. In between times you could either take your own alcohol or take advantage of the suitable and sufficient soft drink menu. The venue has an open kitchen with seating both upstairs and down. We sat downstairs which was absolutely fine but would have preferred a table upstairs due to the open kitchen and windows to the outside. Decor and design is bright and modern. An extract from their website states ‘West View Restaurant offers a selection of modernised oriental cuisine – including Chinese, Japanese and Korean food, striving for the highest quality food and service’. For me, this perfectly describes our visit and experience. The staff were very good, professional and attentive and the food, was absolutely first class in particular the Sushi. The most tasteful and freshest ingredients expertly put together provided us with a wonderful banquet. If you are restaurant hunting in the Lake District and fancy a trip to Bowness then get yourself here and support this new venue that has started out during the very difficult times associated with Covid. Thanks for a great experience West View and good luck for the future with this new adventure.

It's tough to offer anything less than a perfect score to Westview. The atmosphere is absolutely lovely, and the food is the best Chinese I've had in Lancashire. Incredibly helpful and kind employees who make me feel just at home. It's a must-try for everyone looking for a true Chinese dining experience in Windermere!
