The information which was presented on the menu was informative and stated that William Nicholson, the founder of the pub, opened it in 1873.
There were several places to sit and in different sections of the pub.
The salmon was lovely and was a perfect portion. The food is served on an interesting-shaped plate, beautifully presented and the sauce was delicious. The potatoes were really nice.
It is worth exploring the pub, especially downstairs which one should take the time to see as this is the first time that I have ever seen anything like that in such an establishment.
The place was also very clean.
The members of staff were attentive.
***We attended this place again, namely in March 2022. I have the highest of praise for the members of staff. Firstly, I asked a member of staff about a menu item. She spoke to the Chef (whom I would also like to thank). She clearly knows what she is doing as she knew that not all cheeses are vegetarian. She also asked about allergies, which I thought showed initiative. The lovely woman with the multi-coloured hair was also there and she is just so kind and lovely!!!***
⭕️Well...first of all, the stuff which is working in there is very friendly😀, very helpful😃 and very kind😍. The food is like...pub food🙂, so I can't talk to much about it, but it delicious and tasty enough.😉
