The Carpenter's Arms - Windsor - Photo album

Nice interesting old pub. Lots of history. Shame the passageway (railed off) that was possibly once access to the castle isn't made more of. See photos. It looks like it could be something that would draw people in. Showed rugby. Unfortunately had a bad smell all over the pub. Friendly staff. Desse
We enjoyed a couple of pints and dinner after a visit to the castle. Very pleasant pub with a lot of character. We tried the sausage & mash and the ocean fish plate; both were delicious. Friendly and welcoming staff. Would love to return!
Great, no fuss, character-full pub with an enticing menu and high quality food. I've dined there on Christmas day (when it was superb) and again tonight when I went for the large portion of fish'n'chips. It really hit the spot and my father-in-law thought his cheeseburger was one of the best he has
A beautiful pub nearby Windsor Castle, this place has very good food and lots of good history. I was not expecting a lot from my order, a sausage plate but it was really tasty. My wife had salad and chicken also very good. In a world where small pubs were “kidnapped” by big corporations, this result
Great location and amazing staff. The food was okay, but it is all based on taste, so you may like it more than I did.
We booked a table online for our trip to Windsor. We’ve been before and know it’s enjoyable. An hour before our visit my phone rang and it was the pub, they rang to ask if we would be wanting Sunday roast as they only had two portions and would we like them saving. A lovely touch and very thoughtful
Great pub right next to Windsor Castle. Friendly staff, great selection of drinks and good food. Loads of different areas to sit and nice little basement space.
Was a good pub to be fair, friendly staff and we got served quickly. Would see myself going back as the beverage range was also a good amount. Quiet, quirky and quaint. Do suggest.
Very good pub! We got fish and chips and roast dinner, and both were scrumptious! Staff was very friendly and the location was perfect too, just one minute away on foot from the castle.
Excellent pies - and a good range. All looked home-cooked. Staff attentive, toilets clean and not too noisy.
