Bubi's Awesome Eats

A landmark restaurant in Windsor Bubi's like many other restaurants has undoubtedly had a tough time since covid hit. We arrived around lunch time on a Saturday and were quickly seated. It took quite awhile to get our food but I'm guessing they are short staffed which is an issue plaguing many restaurants and retail businesses so totally understandable. Although it would have been nice if the appetizer came out before the main as opposed to after. Please note they do not have a kids menu. Nor will they serve you a half portion of something. This strikes me as a bit odd. How hard is it to create a few items at a smaller size (like chicken fingers) and call it a kids menu? I ordered the pulled pork sandwich which was really good except please note it is not a sandwich per se but the meat is on top of a piece of bread. The serving size was pretty generous though so really no need for another piece of bread on top of it I suppose . I recommend the pizza crusts and if you do get them make sure to order "Windsor style" which includes shredded pepperoni, mushrooms and cheese. I would recommend Bubi's (just maybe not for young kids ) and feel bad for these owners and workers as I know they must be struggling. One of the reasons we continue to dine out is to help support local business like this.

Was a regular customer and loved their burgers but hadn't been there in about 5 or 6 years. The 6 foot dandelion growing in the step of the entrance should have been a clue and the inside hadn't been swept in a while. The appetizer and drinks we decent but my 1/3 pound burger was under a 1/4 of a pound for fun and was tasteless but really chewy. When I told this to the manager he informed me about shrinkage during cooking and a lot of other BS. He had had this conversation many times before. You got my money this time...good bye forever...we won't miss each other.

Very disappointed. My order came to 100$ for 4 burger meals but that wasn't the problem. If I'm paying 22 dollars a meal(burger and fries)and you send out bugers that looked and tasted like preformed burgers from the grocery store then I'm won't be ordering or recommending them ever again. What happen to their amazing burgers from back in the day. Will say bubi's sauce is still great

We have been here several times pre-pandemic. We love the food!! We drove an hour with friends because we were excited they were finally open, again. While we were 25 minutes out, we realized no one had made a reservation. We called, told them we were 25 minutes out and asked if they had a spot for 6. They said they did so we continued on. When we got there, they said the wait would be an hour; that some other people had come in before us and even though we had phoned ahead, we would have to wait. I don’t know what happened between our phone call and arrival but we lost the table. We won’t be back. We’ve always had great service before but that experience soured the place for us.

June 4th went for my birthday with 3 sisters. We all ordered Best of Chicken it was so overcooked literally burnt. They had a party of 20 coming after us. The only excuse we got was kitchen was overwhelmed. It was taken home to feed the dogs. Salad was limp like it was under a heater. Terribly disappointed that it would be served to a patron No excuse

I haven't been to Bubi's in a few years. In the past couple of weeks have stopped in twice. Both times the food and service was very good. The sandwiches and burgers were awesome. Each time they were served quickly and nice and hot. They have a number of different options and choices for lunch and dinner. They also have great looking desserts, but we were too full to try them..maybe next time. There is plenty of parking in the area. Most of it is metered.
