Terra Cotta Pizzeria

First time visiting this place and it was great! We happened to visit on a Tuesday which they had a 2-4-1 special so it was great. Unfortunately I got a parking ticket 🥲 so it didn’t make a difference at the end. Anyways the ginger beer is great also. Service was also excellent! I’d highly recommend a visit.

Do NOT got to the restaurant to eat in on 2 for 1 Tuesdays. We didn't even know it was 2 for 1 night until we walked in and saw the chalk board by the door. Every table was full and in the 40 minutes we sat there only 1 table got their pizza. Maybe they should cater to the customers who make the effort to go to the restaurant but it seemed like priority was take-out. We asked Riley how much longer and when he said another 15 minutes we said to cancel our order. He went to the cooks to tell them and he pulled our order off the line with still about 8 tickets ahead ours. No meal is worth sitting for more than an hour waiting even if it is cheap.

First off, I’m a PizzaExpert on YT and did a video review on this pizza. Second, the pizza maker was eating when I arrived. He then when from eating to handling my pizza. Not cool. With that said, he then took exceptional care in dusting off (with a brush) the excess flour on the bottom. I’ve never seen this without asking for it. The pie: has VERY light sauce and sauce flavour. This does not detract from this great pizza. I don’t often say a pizza is very good let alone great, but it’s unique and well cared for. The cheese is spot on, slightly spiced, which is the overwhelming flavour. Crust is perfectly thin. See more in my video review on YT.
