Anchor Coffee House

Nice coffee place with friendly staff. The have a breakfast menu and a lunch menu. I had the bacon, egg and cheese bagel with sesame. It was pretty good as they put a whole hard boiled egg sliced in half in it. The bagel was fresh and it's pressed in the panini press. I had their cappuccino and it was good.

A must try if you haven’t. Now three locations strong, Anchor is my morning go to for coffee and an occasional treat. The staff is always so friendly and welcoming. The food is made fresh, locally sourced and absolutely delicious. The coffee is always on point. And each location is always spotless. If it’s your first time checking them out be sure to try any (or all) of these: Breakfast: Bacon & Egg Bagel (with an amazing aioli on a house made bagel of course! Get the cheddar jalapeño) Or if you are at their Walkerville location experience the life altering Sconewhich (you’re welcome) Baked Good: Almond Coconut Bar Coffee: Chance Ethiopian Specialty Drink: Mocha (also life changing, trust me!)

Stopped in for lunch during the week. This was my first time here. The sandwich and salad was fantastic! This is a nice local restaurant, very clean and the service is excellent. It has a nice atmosphere and they also serve a good variety of specialty coffees. There is plenty of parking and it can be accessed off of Huron Church or Ambassador drive. If you are in the area stop in for coffee or lunch.

I have loved Anchor Coffee House since the moment I first walked through their doors three years ago. The food is great, the coffee is better... and their customer service? Beyond anything I have ever experienced in my entire life. Whether you're looking for a place to work or gather with a friend, Anchor will not disappoint.

I’ve been here many times, to both locations (Huron Church and Walkerville). Food is always consistently great. I love the lunch combos. The salads are all fresh with interesting and flavorful combinations. The staff is always so friendly. There have been a few times where my order is wrong and they have never hesitated to correct it, free of charge, even when I tell them it’s alright. And the pourover coffee is so delicious. No need to use any sugar or cream - so good on its own.
