Great place used as a stop whilst cycling to wales. Owners were friendly and welcoming as well as accommodating. Enjoyed the food and breakfast. Rooms looked new and everything was clean and tidy. Wouldn’t expect anymore would definitely go back and stay.

Just got here. Perfect little pub. Nice and quiet. Room is clean and comfy.

Whilst staying elsewhere locally, we happened to discover this little gem of a pub.The food was tasty and reasonably priced with a good selection of drinks. A friendly and relaxed atmosphere, the highlight being the lovely, warm and hospitable hosts. If in the area we would definitely pop back for a meal or even stay in the accomodation above the pub. We highly recommend

Had a great stay, quiet and comfortable ,perfect spot for a weekend getaway. Our meal was awesome and a tap selection that makes you want to try every one. I wish we were in the area more often as it seems to be just the right distance from all the nearby places of interest. I noticed they often run special events and menus as well.. a fun place to hang out.

Such a wonderful place. The hosts are extremely warm and welcoming. The rooms are lovely and have the comfiest beds I've ever slept in. Food is top knotch. Will definitely stay again

Stayed on 12.09.20 on route to visit family. Friendly host , immaculate rooms, looked and smelt freshly decorated. Plenty of tea/coffee & kettle. Big immaculate bathroom with shower. Highly recommend. Would def use again

Stayed here after a day canoeing on the Wye. Really nice place, very clean, great breakfast. Short taxi ride from Hay-on-wye. Would recommend.

A lovely stay at the Sun Inn. A nice traditional country pub with a relaxed atmosphere. The pub is cosy and relaxed, and the accommodation, very spacious, modern and clean. The hosts are very friendly and accomodating and the food - both breakfast in the morning and the lovely evening meal we had - was excellent. A great base to explore the nearby hills and lovely villages like Hay on Wye. Highly recommended.

Exceptional value for money. Room large and spotless. Owners extremely hard-working but still very personable and friendly.

Fabulous pub. Really warm welcome from Wendy and Tony. Nice and warm, lovely food (especially the homemade garlic bread and chips) and really nice atmosphere. Try it, you certainly won't be disappointed.
