Came here with my ex wife hoping it might lead to a reunion. And by golly did it! The Food was incredible, it was a Sunday Roast cooked by the Greek Gods themselves. The service was phenomenal, Absolutely amazing. The atmosphere, spectacular! I think we fell in love all over again from this magical
Had a lovely lunch here the other day. It’s a beautiful olde English country pub, with a nice warm log burner and fireplace. The Steak & Ale pie and mash, plus the sticky toffee pudding, with custard, were both fabulous. The staff were very friendly and welcoming. Will definitely come here again.
The food here is always really tasty but had the roast beef last Sunday and the chicken madras this week and absolutely loved both. Chicken madras honestly one of the best curries I’ve had.

Can honestly say, it was one of the most amazing roasts i’ve ever eaten. nicely presented and the portion size was nice and filling. Great customer service. nice cosy atmosphere and reasonably priced.
What a fantastic country pub with beautiful garden. Food is amazing as are the specials. Love the lunch menu too
Lovely village pub, open fire, nice menu with changing specials. Been a few times for drinks/lunch. Last visit had steak & chips. Perfectly cooked steak, good portion of chips and vine roasted tomatoes. Peppercorn sauce was moreish! Nice atmosphere, will definitely be back.
Great little village pub. Had a family gathering here staff were friendly food was spot on. Will return
Beautiful country pub! Nice food and good service. Definitely will be returning.
Lovely pub and location. Had lunch yesterday with the family. New owners are lovely. Will defiantly be back.
So lovely to have our pub back. New young team working so hard. Food on lunch menu was excellent.
Amazing roast and fish and chips - so glad to see the pub open again and can’t wait to return - thank you!
Pleasant pub in a charming village. Would have preferred a menu with snacks/sandwiches etc. That said we had a nice lunch in a pleasant environment. No complaints.
Arrived at 5.30 p.m. midweek and pub was really busy. Chap behind the bar found us a table straight away despite having a booking for 30 arriving around 7 p.m. Very good choice of well kept ales and varied menu to suit most tastes. 3 of us had main courses only. Piping hot ,very tasty. Easy to see
I first ate at The Plough Inn back in August... it was not a great visit, and my 2-star review then was tough, but honest. I'm very happy that, having heard better things from a friend, I decided to give them a second chance. What a difference 6 months have made! A completely different experience.
What a lovely country pub!! We had the new lunchtime menu and ate all 3 courses. Wonderful food, very good value for money, nice attentive professional service. Kids also handed back empty plates!! Overall 10 out of 10. We will be back and will highly recommend
Delicious great food .lovely inside .Great friendly helpful staff .
Excellent historic village pub & restaurant just off the M1. Superb hand-pulled beers from the Fuller's range and an extensive menu of high-quality home-cooked food. Really friendly service too and easy parking across from the pub. We were flying from Luton and needed some refreshments the night bef
Little gem of a country pub with friendly staff and great food
