Happened upon this lovely farm shop for some supplies to add to our evening meal. No dogs allowed inside, but beautiful grounds to explore.
Nice to browse. Good quality produce. More expensive than supermarkets but quality is better. Good bakery. Best pork pies I've tasted. A bit out if the way for me coming from Hythe but if I am in the vicinity I always pop in.
Popped in here by pure chance. Very glad we did. Really cool set up for take away food. Amazing collection of cakes and pastries as well as healthy options and take away coffee, plus everything else you would expect in a traditional farm shop.
Quality produce. You get a decent sized piece of cake and a latte in the restaurant too. Lots of other food to try too. Give it a good, the staff are lovely 😍
Good quality ingredients in the cafe. Nice coffee. Great selection of cheese and cakes in the shop. We had some steak and it wasn't hugely flavoursome. Cheese was lovely.
Would be great if you did extra ingredients on the breakfasts however...I like two sausages 😊
It is quite expensive but they se
Lovely shopping area and plenty of places to sit with food bought from shop. I went in restaurant and waitress seemed stressed as had a busy lunch time not impressed with restaurant food for snacks looked yesterdays salad. But everything else was good will have picnic next time
What a place. A friend of mine (Dorris Flaps) mentioned Gibsons and said its worth a visit. Really? There are sqillions of 'Farm Shops' in Kent but THIS one is definitely worth a visit. Everything looks fresh and home made. The hams/cheeses- the breads- all looked lovely. The variety of what yo
5 star. Was on a coach today. All the places we went to no food. I phoned up gibsons and said I have 39 people on this coach can you welcome us. They said yes when. I said 10 mins. We was greeted by 2 staff. Wonderful. Good was amazing. Service was a little slow but you can't blame them after bring
Lovely stop for a coffe and cake as well as cream teas. Farm shop was amazing and wish we lived nearer to be able to use this rather than a supermarket. Definitely worth supporting your local farm shop as they are a dying breed. Next time in the area will be stopping again.
We had a lovely visit to the cafe here. I had a ploughman's and can highly recommend that. My friend bought some very cheap plants. Other things are quite expensive but on par with similar shops and the quality of goods is high.
Wasn't disappointed with the visit. The meal was excellent. And to get duck eggs as well. Choices in shop was excellent.
Staff were friendly.
Plenty of parking.
Definitely go back.
I had a lovely meal. Very friendly and helpful staff. They always have excellent quality produce and interesting gifts in the shop.
Popped in for a lunch and was not disappointed. Got seated immediately and the menu is varied and very good value. The steak and ale pies were excellent. Very well prepared car park without pots holes which is often the case at similar establishments. Staff were very friendly and attentive. Will def
Lovely place. Great cafe. Stuff you don't normally see elsewhere.
Fantastic lunch with the team last Saturday, not far from our holiday let across the field called Myrtles Barn. We recommend all guests have a visit to Gibson’s whether to eat like we did or to just shop for locally sourced produce in their wonderful farm shop.
We had a ploughman’s, burger, salad a
