Sushi Cushi

Nice local sushi restaurant with fantastic service. Came in for a dinner and there was a short wait. Restaurant took my number and called me when a table was ready. Menu selection is fairly broad, and the printed menu doesn't contain descriptions of some of the rolls. On the table there is a QR code to an electronic menu that does contain some descriptions of the menu items. Prices are very reasonable for rolls, although the rolls are a little on the smaller side then what I'm used to. Found the quality fairly good, and had ordered spicy tuna roll and a dynamite roll. Both came fairly quickly, spicy tuna roll was topped with sriracha, not the usual spicy mayonnaise that you might encounter normally.

I have always been a fan of Sushi Cushi since it opened in Winnipeg. They have good prices, a variety of items and quick service. Quality of sushi is average but tasty and a good option for budget friendly sushi. My go-to items are pictured here: - Sunomono Salad (with shrimp), - Sushi Pizza, - Bakudan Maki, - Calamari Maki, - Smoked Salmon Maki, - and the Volcano roll!

Visiting from out of town and went with a friend around 630pm on a Friday and we had to wait for a table. They took down our number and we waited in the car. We called them back after waiting longer then were told and they had the phone number written down wrong so, we had to wait a lil longer since they didnt have a table free again. But it was worth the wait! And they gave us free pop for having to wait longer with the phone number mix up. Nice they have takeout as an option too! We had been here a number of years ago so wanted to try again and still excellent!

I am beyond pleased with the quality. The restaurant is very clean and cute. It feels very genuine. Our servers were super friendly and the service was very quick!!! The sushi itself was so tasty and buttery. It all tasted very fresh and the presentation was awesome. Solid 10/10, I will definitely be returning in the future.
