Last minute meal on a Saturday night. Squeezed us in and wow what meal so much meat. I quality food great staff. Guvnor was great fun. All Good in my book.

We came here as the children wanted food new they had a play area food was amazing so very tastey the bar staff were great happy can not do enough for you and did not feel I had to cringe as we all no what children are like such a friendly family pub only thing I would say is kids miss the swings and maybe teepe needs a bit of a do up but still great

Have a fab meal last night in a last minute choice. Great steak for the missus and perfect Lamb for me. Waitress’s were are great laugh and found out not sisters! Went in the bar afterwards and treated like regulars by the guvnor! Great music, banter and atmosphere. We will definitely be coming again and I owe you a drink Robyn. Might even search out my Darts Greatest hits album. Really looking forward to trying one of the sharer cuts next time.

I've had the most amazing steak tonight. The d-cut rump was so tender. It's also a long time since I had proper home cut chips, and as for the key lime pie! Never had it before...but waitress tempted me and boy was I happy.
This place is great give it a go spread the word you will not be dissapointed.

Found by accident after a disappointing encounter with a nearby restaurant. As a family, we were made most welcome. Food was lovely home cooked and plenty of it. When next in Bristol. Would definately visit again. A delightful quirky restaurant and bar.
Wow! Just had the best roast I have ever had eating out, absolutely amazing and the staff are equally fantastic. Would heartily recommend, but would advise to book in advance as seating is limited

Had to leave a review as felt bad we left a fair bit of food... but that was because the portions are VERY generous and most of our group aren't the biggest eaters so it was not a reflection on the quality.
I had 3 options from the tapas menu and I'm hindsight would have been more than full with just 2.
The waitress was very friendly and helpful especially with the lil one, definitely got herself a new lil friend 😁 there. Very nice little restaurant section which is away from the main bar area so no noise carries through either. Everyone was more than happy with the food that they managed to eat and would be more than happy to visit again if in the area.
Food is still great (thanks Becks) but now under new management who have changed the crockery, plates are smaller and the desserts are served on a swallow dish which is useless for dessert with custard, pretentious not practical. Would be five star if the old crockery was being used. No longer doing food except for Sunday carvery. So more like a good old fashion country pub (still great thanks to Becks).
Had a fantastic Mother’s Day meal with 10 of our family. The food was tremendous value and beautifully cooked. And the service couldn’t be faulted.

Just had two roast dinners delivered from the Swan.... Didn't disappoint... My partner ate the lot whilst I've saved half for tomorrow's dinner! Large portions, very tasty and arrived promptly... Definitely be ordering again (and again)
Went for the Sunday carvery today. I am visiting from Australia and missing my Sunday roast I couldnt wait to try one. I am a bit of a roast critic I would say and am fussy. Well, this was hands down one of the best roasts I have ever had. A great choice of meats- beef, turkey, gammon and pork. Good choice of sizes- small was even massive so is enough for most. Medium was huge! And absolute value for money- 8 pounds for small 11.50 for medium. A bargain these days and well worth every pound. I would happily pay 15 pounds for it. Veg cooked perfectly, nice stuffing beautiful yorkies. Meat was nice, good choice of veg and sauces. Nice gravey. Only crackling was burnt that was the only minor thing but atleast it was crispy haha. Will 100% be back when we come over again. The lady serving was very friendly and attentive too
Was in the brunch queue at John Lewis, and thought naa I remembered the Swans Omelettes. 30 mins later I had the most delicious bacon and cheese omelette with fries and a mixed salad. Gorgeous!
No picture as the food had my attention and now all I have is an empty plate. Lovely!
Fantastic food, friendly folk, easy to get a table. American themed smokehouse with lots of options. Beautifully presented and well flavoured food, kids options too. Monterrey was The Best Burger I have ever had. Ever. A little slow to take our order as we arrived early evening and restaurant side was empty, otherwise would have given 5 stars.
We got delivery from here today and it was INCREDIBLE! Food was half an hour early and so fresh. the portions were absolutely huge. Made a bad day very good ^^ find them on Just eat!
Well I was surprised at the quality and price, we had fish and chips on the lunchtime menu and it was delicious, another couple who were in the restaurant had steaks and they loved them, top quality they said. Thoroughly recommend it,
