Hermanus Seaview Bar And Dining - Winterton-on-Sea - Photo album

Very nice beach. Car park near the coast it cost a few pounds. Also small place for drinks. You can walk down the beach where at the right time is the year you can see, sea life as seals. The village is really cute with authentic houses .
Been staying at Hermanus several times a year over the last seven years and can honestly say we have had some great times with friends and family and have always enjoyed the great walks along the coast. especially at the breading times for the grey seals and common seals at Horsey gap. But recently
First time and most certainly not the last. Went for Sunday lunch, chose roast pork, with roast potatoes a boiled potatoe stuffing 2 small sausages and exceptional Yorkshire pudding.Separate veg so help yourself to what ever you prefer from carrot, green beans, broccoli, and mashed swede. Be aware th
A lovely roast, cauliflower cheese was an optional extra, but one portion was enough for all of us to share. Smelt a little bit of fresh renovations, or cleaning, but not overpowering. Dog friendly, we were sat in the non-dog area, and there were good activity sheets for the children.
Good quality food and we were sitting in a room off the main dining room with a beautiful view of the sea. If you want the same it's tables R3, R4 or R5. Lovely friendly staff but do book because it was busy.
The bungalow we had over Christmas was lovely nicely laid out all that we needed was there the ownley folt the bar and restaurant was not open on the Friday Saturday or sunday
Fabulous Sunday roast dinner, service and views looking out to sea 😊
Had a great meal in lovely room and very nice table settings

Great food at reasonable prices.

Don't be put off when you first arrive as it seems to be in a time warp. Brilliant Sunday lunch, could not be faulted. I enjoyed the Steak pie, but roasts available including Pheasant (note to self to have next time) and huge Yorkshire Puds almost the size of a dinghy !
Such stunning views from the restaurant looking towards the sea, or their beautiful round huts. Food is fresh, fast and always hot. We love the sunday carvery and it doesn't break the bank to feed between 5 (and 9 if the older children come home to visit) its clean, tidy and very welcoming. The owne
Excellent place to visit, all well organised for covid safety to not spoil the experience. Staff were all very pleasant and helpful, food on site is superb, especially the cheese on toast with a pot of tea. Highly recommend the walk around the different gardens and woodland areas, plenty of wildlife
Had the roast pork, and it was so tasty, and the yorkshire puds are huge. I have been going to the Hermanus for 40 yrs, and the decor is the same lol.... but it doesnt take away that the meal was so good, and fruit crumble was amazing.
We had trouble finding some where to eat. We see it advised so we popped in. The staff where lovely . We had 4 steaks and a childs sausage meal. Drinks where very nice. Well appreciated.thanks
Lovely place to visit, great food worked well with coronavirus, staff wore masks and were very polite and helpful , we sat outside to eat, the tables were nicely spaced out, we never stayed on the site, but we did enquire, very nice sea views, and quite close to the sea, you do need to walk down hill
nice place for a break
This is a must for people who like great food and drinks in a relaxed atmosphere served to you by polite and friendly staff. There is a family room, the lounge which has a great view out over the sea, and the restaurant, and cater for children as well as adults. A big thank you to Jamie, Colin and a
