Wife popped in can’t say the chip shop I would chose locally but was ok can’t fault the food but a big plus is that they use paper bags so the food was not sweating when we opened it at home was also wrapped up plenty so warm too yes I would go there again but only if jolly fryer is not open
Food great quality can't argue there.
However service is slow at the moment, guessing short staffed. That though is no excuse for a simple order taking longer than anyone else's order!

Ordered on the phone 5 mins before closing time. Staff were happy to take the order and serve us on arrival. Decent fish and chips and prices were OK as well.

I go to Frank's regularly and have never been disappointed by the food and service. The food is superb and the quality of the fish is amazing. It is fresh, non greasy and battered perfectly. The portions are massive for the price you pay and the staff are so kind. It is close to town so after the delicious meal, you can head into town.
Best chippy ever! Frank was reasonably fair with the pricing as I did try to barter with the poor lad 😂. They tried giving me more food however I rested my case and settled for a single serving of their finist cod and chips
I have never had a bad meal here. The fish is perfectly cooked and absolutely delicious. Even better when eating in the restaurant. Chips always tend to become soggy when wrapped in paper. Great value and everything spotlessly clean.
Visited 1st time today. Superb. Really 'meaty'fish, admittedly a bit pricey but everything has gone up. No waste, lovely & hot. Will go again.
Wanted somewhere quick and cheap on a Friday evening and Frank's was ideal. Fish and chips were really nice! Went for the deal of Cod and Chips/ Mushy Peas/ Bread and a cuppa- all for £6.20. Restaurant was clean and service was quick. Recommend.
Beautiful Fresh Food. Portion sizes are massive, GREAT value for money. NOT greasy or cold. Lovely Batter, not soggy or heavy.
Staff are friendly helpful and polite. HIGHLY RECOMMEND. We will be back!!
