A massive thank you to the Pink Turban for a lovely meal after I won the Facebook competition yesterday! The food was delicious, fresh and a great variety for both starters, main course and dessert! The staff were friendly and very helpful...couldn’t do enough for you! Would definitely return to this restaurant and recommend it to everyone! Thanks for a very enjoyable family meal!!

Would highly recommend the pink turban, the good is always fresh and delicious and Rai and his staff cannot do enough for you. There aren't many places you will go to eat where the owner will go out if his way to visit your table and chat with you. We go regularly and can't fault it.

I've been quite a few times and enjoyed it very much, in fact had my 60th birthday here, staff were very friendly, everyone was catered for including my granddaughter, gave us some extra dishes to try. One of the best I would say and don't believe the stories some are going about. Will certainly be back. Xx

We came here for lunch on Saturday and were not disappointed it was absolutely beautiful and great value for money. I haven’t had much experience with Indian food and this was great for me to try new dishes.

Had another buffet lunch here today and it was so good as usual. It became extremely busy as we were eating and not surprised cos all the food is so fresh and amazing. The choice of desserts and ice cream excellent.

We went on a Tuesday at lunchtime for the buffet lunch. It costs a mere £7.95 per person. It is well worth the money for unlimited food. The food was piping hot and freshly prepared. There was lots of it. Alcohol was not being served at that time but the sign outside said you can bring your own bottle. The staff were very attentive at bringing drinks and clearing plates. Nothing was too much trouble. They didn't smile and the atmosphere felt very flat or formal somehow. There are no table covers but the napkins are cloth. The main downside for me (and why I did not give 5 stars) is that there was only 1 vegan/vegetarian main dish of a vegetable curry on offer. This was very disappointing for an Indian restaurant. The only bread was naan (non vegan) : no roti or chapati. I heard a family lament there were no chips available. Due to the poor choice for vegans and vegetarians, I wouldn't rush back, especially as it was quite a drive to get there. If you eat meat and dairy and don't mind driving to a small town near Wishaw, then it's worth the money. The car park is tiny but there is some street parking on the busy road outside. The restaurant itself was very clean and well managed but lacks atmosphere. There's no real theme which is a shame, given the interesting name of the place. Perhaps the evening a la carte menu gives more vegan options. Definitely worth a try for great value for money.

First ever visit to the Pink Turban and certainly won’t be my last, from the warm welcome at the door from the friendly start with a fantastic can for attitude towards service and customer care. Nothing was too much trouble even the offer of off menu items if we didn’t see anything we liked. Food was fantastic fresh and piping hot with a fantastic selection on the buffet. Thank you so much for your hospitality and the fantastic meal

Had a 10 minute wait until the fresh food was brought out, that's looking after your customers, well done. I'd rather wait 10 minutes for the fresh food than eat older food. The food is simply brilliant. Top marks all round.

The food is amazing but there is a woman who works in the restaurant who just walks around scowling at people. Her customer service needs to improve. I can easily ignore that though as we really enjoyed our buffet lunch. There was loads of options and everything was really fresh.

Great food! Lots of choice, very fresh and very hot. The staff were very welcoming and friendly and the restaurant was spotless. They don't have an alcohol licence at the moment but we were able to take in our own wine and beer. Will definitely be back.

Absolutely LOVE a Pink Turban The owners are beyond friendly, when I took my partner in for her first meal there was a limited amount of options at the buffet for a vegetarian so we planned to just order from the menu. When the owner came to ask what was wrong he was delighted to have a vegetarian in and then chatted with my partner and asked exactly what types of curry she liked and then he went out the back and had two vegetarian curries made for her so she felt like she had more of the buffet experience. Really nice touch. We tried to tip extremely generously but were told not to be silly by the owner but we insisted as we'd really been treated well and he accepted. Speaking as a meat eater, I'm fine with the buffet. I eat enough chunks of tikka to kill a man. The ONLY negative is I believe it's family run? As in, some of the kids work there too? I know this must be hard as you don't always want to be working, and probably even less so if it's family... but the younger staff need to get better at hiding that. They looked like they'd sooner take a dip the the clyde than be there, that's a shame. One final tip, the delivery is great - one night we ordered and it must have been as they were closing as my chicken tikka starter must have been almost everything they had left. There was at least 12 huge chunks of the stuff. So to the owner... if that was you... thanks again!

From the moment we stepped in, we were warmly welcomed and taken care of very attentively. Wonderful staff and food, including the delicious desserts! Personable and fantastic service. Highly recommend coming here for not just the food, but the lovely atmosphere that comes with it. All in all a great experience and will come back again soon.

Never been before but will definitely be back! Service was great. A very special thank you to the gentleman who greeted us and servered us. Never got his name and wasn't there by the time we left but he was absolutely wonderful!! He wasn't the owner but I think perhaps the manager. Thank you to all!!

Best resturant about. Buffet service is great value for money with a good range of dishes. Would highly recommend the tandoori chicken, butter chicken, lamb Rogan Josh. Ice cream at the end of the meal included. The food is freshly made and authentic with the dishes being replaced constantly. They even brought our some chips and chicken nuggets for kids which aren't in the buffet. Very attentive staff - always on the look out to clear away empty plates n glasses and brought our drinks very quickly when asked. Manager is very friendly and welcoming. New interior so it is alot more fresh and welcoming, theybfinally got rid of the old carpet. Would definetly recommend this place.
