Always come here with my parents as a regular treat and have never been disappointed, lovely food and staff and all reasonably priced

Lovely little country pub that was a welcome pit stop on a long walk. Friendly staff who were happy to chat. We only had a snack, but the homemade sausage rolls were very good and the food is reasonably priced. Will look forward to calling by again. Thanks.

Plenty of parking to the rear in their car park.

Great friendly village pub! The staff are lovely and attentive. Great selection of food and drink, the fish finger sandwich is superb. Quite a lot of parking onsite. Just an all round fab pub.
A Lovely experience was had by myself and my husband this Sunday. Food was amazing! So delicious ! The roast pork was unbelievably tender and my lemon posset was to die for. The staff were so friendly and helpful and we couldn’t have asked for a more lovelier afternoon. Can’t wait for a return visit
We went on a sunday as a large family group, staff and owner are really friendly they couldn't do enough. The food is real tasty home cooked food. We will definitely be back, a great find.

Lovely village pub. Old and full of character, in the centre of White Notley with a good size car park. We popped in for a drink on Friday night, it was full of people but not overly busy.
The beer was excellent, fresh and well kept. Good crisps, but a devastating lack of scratchings🙀. We do plan
