Absolutely love this place! Such a great relaxed atmosphere The food is amazing, its more than " pub grub" It's dog friendly and there is 2 black cats that live there!! Faultless. Booking is essential as they do get booked up!!! Free parking Kid friendly and GF options The staff are friendly and a extra shout out to the male bar staff we had serve us, was so lovely, constantly working and attentative to us. Best pub in witney! Probably actually best in the whole cotswold.

A bit of a late review but still worthy! We, as a group of friends, organise an annual camping trip over the Easter weekend and this year (due to horrid weather) we decided to try and get a nice lunch booked somewhere local. It was always going to be tricky with 8 adults, 9 kids & 2 dogs, but the staff at The Windrush were brilliant from the first phone call. They were happy to move furniture around to accommodate us all and put on a fab Sunday Roast. All the staff were attentive and friendly. They were so lovely with our children and didn’t rush us at all. We had a lovely visit and would recommend to others.

Lovely pub near Whitney. Decor inside is lovely and the Xmas decorations were very classy. I had bacon, brie and cranberry baguette with chips. The chips were proper thick cut, golden and crispy on outside and soft and fluffy in the middle...best pub chips I've had in a while. It's open plan so felt a little chilly so wear a warm jumper. There is a lovely black cat sauntering around but not a nuisance to anyone. I love cats but my son is allergic to them so just be aware of that. Staff were very friendly and I'd definitely visit again.

My Son and I both drove an hour from different directions to meet up for his birthday yesterday. I picked the Windrush Inn because it was in the middle more or less and because of the reviews. Well, it was worth it. What a great place. Its a lovely bar/restaurant with a decent amount of parking and outside seating space. It was raining when I arrived so im not 100% sure but I think there's a garden around the back too. The staff were great, very friendly and the service was spot on. As was the food. It is a dog friendly pub with treats available to buy at the bar but I did notice a C.A.T in there do if your doggo is not a fan of the C. A.T then you might want to sit outside 🤣. In short, great place and we will be back.

From walking in to leaving the staff were brilliant. Food amazing, from starters to deserts. The ribs meat fell off the bones, steak perfect with a fab tasting peppercorn sauce, the burgers made how we like them. Our youngest is autistic so will only eat cheese burger and the bun - no issues at all whereas other places we have to send it back. Deserts very very yummy. If we are back in this area again definitely going back to eat there

I can only exho the other excellent reviews. Was passing through and thought it looked inviting for Sunday lunch. Lovely food, lots of space and efficient, friendly staff. Happy to recommend.

Food tastes good staff very friendly. Watched a member of staff removed the lid of tomato ketchup bottle with her teeth and then screwed the lid on and took to a customer- which was slightly worrying but everyone friendly and food good. We had burger 🍔 which was tasty and salad. Nice atmosphere.

Our first visit to the Windrush Inn with our family who live locally. Delightful to see that this establishment takes food and customer service seriously. Friendly, attentive and efficient staff. All requests were handled in a professional manner. Quality of food was excellent. When you order a simple dish such as chicken wings and it comes out as it did here at the Windrush Inn it makes your whole lunch experience so much more pleasant. Because you can tell that whoever is in the kitchen as the head chef has actually good knowledge of food. We'll definitely eat here again.

Came here for an anniversary dinner. staff are really welcoming and friendly, couldn’t do enough for you! The food is amazing, had the wings and then ribs, both were brilliant! Well presented, flavourful and perfect sized portion. Prices are fair and will be returning!
