Beautiful location but did have the issue that clientele at the table next door were having a very loud conversation as a man told his wife so loudly the whole restaurant could hear that a woman was too skinny and had no chest, and that trans people did not exist, something his whole table loudly agreed on. Could have done with staff stepping in just to shut him up. Nice river, food was decent.

A truly beautiful location, great atmosphere, lovely friendly staff and a really fabulous food menu. This ticked all the boxes for us and the quality of the food and choice available was excellent and really good value too. We will 100% be coming back!!

Excellent food, service and atmosphere. Best food we've had at a Chef and Brewer. Very quick service, food piping hot and great portions. So impressed that went back the following evening and ordered different items, again same quality on all counts. 10/10 Highly recommended.

I’ve been here twice in the past month and both times have been great! The location is great especially when the sun is out! The food was lovely and the service was good. Another bonus is it’s dog friendly! I will be back

A very beautiful countryside pub located next to the river Thames. It has a great number of indoor and outdoor/patio sittings. Clean and well maintained. We visited here for the Sunday roast and the view. It comes with a reasonable portion for the roast of sirloin beef. Beef is tender and tasty, but not peas. The portion of sides (cauliflower cheese and fires) is very small. Services are good. I'm impressed with the speed of serving drinks, foods, and the bill.

Love this pub..Excellent service and wonderful location. On this visit we were particularly impressed with the standard of the food - beautifully cooked and presented, good portion sizes and a great choice of both meat and veggie options. The fresh asparagus with my roasted veg and onion tart were gorgeous and an unexpected treat. My partner's mixed grill was delicious and cooked to perfection. Well done to the whole team. We will be back very soon

We just live Chef and Brewer pubs. Always in gorgeous settings with great staff. We were early for our table so we checked in and sat at the bar for a bit. It's a busy pub but has a calm feel to it and that's down to the running of it. We had a lovely waitress who was happy to join in with a giggle and very knowledgeable on her food and drink. The food was tasty, I had hoped to have the pulled lamb flat bread but they had sadly sold out. It was great pub grub, served piping hot and time given between courses, a bug bare of mine! I'm not going to list what we ate as it was all very good . The arancini was lovely and recommended. If I had to have one teeny criticism, the chips needed longer in the fryer, not just for colour but for a good crunch or make your own but being part of a chain, they may not be allowed to. We will be back, lovely place! Thank you!

Not sure why this pub had a lower rating. We went for the global greyhound walk today and it was a lovely place. Stayed more for the Sunday roast, food was great and decoration was very cosy and welcoming. The staff was super friendly too. It's also nice that the place has a convenient car park, definitely worth a visit

We'd been here a few times for drinks as often camp locally and so decided to book in for Sunday lunch. It does get busy on a sunny weekend so we booked a few weeks out. You also need to allow for traffic! On Saturday it took 20 mins to go half a mile on the final approach due to bridge traffic lights! Sunday lunch was good and we had a mix of starters, mains and dessert. The chicken and ham hock terrine was a little on the small side but okay as a starter and pretty tasty. Roasts were all okay, good portion of meat, nice fluffy on the inside spuds and impressive Yorkshire puds! The kids menu also had a good choice of dishes and was reasonably priced. 2 adults, 1 child with some drinks came in at just over £70 which is what we'd expect. The staff were all friendly and attentive, we were served by Eve who did a great job. The pub was busy but not over booked so the team seemed to be coping well. We'd happily recommend as a nice riverside pub and we would return for what was a decent Sunday lunch.

We came for a lovely meal and that is exactly what we received. Unfortunately due to 'sickness' the staff were under pressure but performed extremely well. Our waitress Meletta was great, prompt and attentive. The food was very good but due to over eating declined the pudding. Their out door tables are within touch of the river and is a delight in the summer. Will we return, yes we will. Thank you Rose Revived for a wonderful afternoon. You made our day.

Had Sunday lunch. Not busy because the weather was wet and cold. Staff friendly but a couple of errors in the food and drink orders - quickly corrected. Turkey a little dry, beef rib overcooked with crunchy bits.... Nice spot but needs to up the game a little.
