Celebrated our 37th wedding anniversary here after reading outstanding reviews. They did not disappoint! Absolutely delicious food, especially the veal. Really friendly owners/staff, and the Italian music playing took us right back to our courting days and early years of marriage. We had a truly enjoyable evening, would highly recommend and will definitely be returning.
Brilliant, authentic Italian food. Been here twice now, and came yesterday for my birthday. Food was fantastic, fresh and generous portions. The Antipasto platter was amazing and the calamari one of the best I've had. The salmon pasta I had was great and my girlfriend and mum enjoyed their mains too.
I was also treated to a free drink for my birthday (Thank you Ali) 😊 . I highly recommend this place if you're looking for an authentic Italian with fresh food and fair prices, you won't find better in the area, I am fussy with Italian restaurants but this one really is spot on. Service is also fantastic. We look forward to coming back many more times!

The food here is AMAZING! Ate here with my boyfriend for the first time a couple of weeks ago, think about the food constantly since. We both got starters and mains (didn’t have room for pudding as the portions are good) couldn’t have been happier with the food and service. Getting a takeaway after work tonight and I’m so excited about it!
Delicious food, friendly service, the chef, who is from Italy, prepared outstanding dishes all 3 of us ordered. Went there twice in one week, that's how good the food is.

Five of us visited this friendly and unpretentious restaurant recently and were impressed by the quality of the food and the relaxed atmosphere. The pepper steak was genuinely the best I’ve had in years, melt in the mouth tender, delicious and a generous size. Most of the others had pasta dishes and rated them highly.
Thanks to everyone at La Zingara for a lovely meal. We will be back!

Really lovely italian food. Good value too. Just be aware they dont always do pizzas, there was plenty to choose from on the menu though without them. Will be back!

Just had a meal at La Zingara. The restaurant had a lovely atmosphere, the type you only get from a family-owned and family-run establishment such as this one. Food was excellent, and they added an extra piece of bruschetta to our meal as we were a party of three, which we appreciated. I would definitely come again for the friendly and welcoming atmosphere!
Went for dinner last night on a whim, they were fully booked but managed to create a table for us. The food was absolutely delicious, atmosphere great! Would highly recommended and we are so lucky to have found such a great restaurant practically on our doorstep, we have certainly found our go to restaurant!
Just perfect. We have eaten many times in the Restaurant and the service is both friendly and relaxed. They really make you feel welcome. Food is absolutely delicious and they will cater for any diet requirements if you let them know. During the COVID-19 lock down periods we have also ordered many Take Away's from them. Absolutely superb. Great Service. We did the Take Away Menu due to Covid restrictions. It was my Birthday and what a treat. Just delicious food. We ordered a few things not able to get on the Menu but they gave us alternatives and were superb on the phone. Very Happy. Thank You guys. We will be back. X
Very enjoyable evening on Friday night. Restaurant had a great atmosphere but wasn't too busy. Food was great too and reasonably priced. Lovely family owned Italian- would definitely recommend and will definitely be visiting again soon! Lemoncello topped the evening off ;)
We have eaten here countless times since it opened. Fantastic food and staff. We are always welcomed with open arms and have great fun with the staff. I could not fault it in any way. 5* food and friendly staff who will go out of their way to accommodate you. My only sadness is that I can’t eat there every night❤️
