I recently had the pleasure of dining at Piccolo Arco in Wokingham choosing the restaurant to celebrate one year of living in Wokingham, and I can confidently say that it's a dining experience worth celebrating. From start to finish, every aspect of this family-run Italian restaurant exceeded my expectations.
Upon arrival, we were greeted by the manager in Italian, instantly transporting us to the heart of Italy. The atmosphere was warm, inviting, and oozed authenticity.
The menu offered a tantalizing array of Italian delights. We started with the BRUSCHETTA, a perfect appetizer with a symphony of fresh flavors. The LINGUINE ALLO SCOGLIO was a seafood lover's dream, perfectly cooked and swimming in a delightful white wine garlic and cream sauce. The LINGUINE GAMBERONI, with its succulent king prawns and a touch of chili, was a spicy sensation that left our taste buds dancing.
And then there was the TIRAMISU, a heavenly dessert that rounded off the meal on a sweet note.
What truly sets Piccolo Arco apart is the skill of their chef. Every dish was a masterpiece, expertly prepared with fresh ingredients that shone through in each bite. The portions were generous, leaving us completely satisfied.
The service was impeccable, with a friendly and attentive staff that made us feel like honored guests. The dedication to providing a memorable dining experience was evident throughout.
In summary, if you're in search of an authentic taste of Italy in Wokingham, this is the place to be. I left already planning my return visit and would highly recommend this restaurant to anyone seeking exceptional Italian cuisine and a warm, inviting atmosphere. Bravo, Piccolo Arco! 🌟🍝🍷
Such a lovely restaurant located in a beautiful town, with a well valued service. The staff are very kind and joyful which of course tops the entire experience. I was always looked after, and offered when needed. Instant service. As for the food, I have to be bias and boast about their penne pasta with salmon and vodka sauce, because it is simply the best. The flavours are immaculate. And not to mention the portions deeply reflect their prices, which is worth it.
As for the interior, the restaurant brings in a bright and edgy look, that immediately caught my eye when deciding where to eat dinner.
All in all, each time I go my expectations are met, and myself and my family have a blast! Highly recommend.
Atmosphere, service and tastes are perfect!! However it was little expensive for us; let’s say 1.5 times more expensive than usual restaurant. We enjoyed sea food risotto and fungi risotto, taste yam yam!! I would recommend to come here for a special occasion, such as cerebration.
Great food, great service. 6 of us, starters, mains, 3 puds, bottle of white, bottle of red, 2 soft drinks, £120 per couple. Incl service charge. Only thought is that you have a choice of fries or veg with main meal and I think both should be included, even if it was one dish to share amongst the table. Would recommend.
Friends took us here after a visit to the cinema. I wasn't expecting Italian food to be as spicy and unfortunately it did distract from the normal Italian flavours in used to and the wine. It was nice food, cooked very well. Starter was the best part followed closely by dessert and the main trailing in a distant 3rd place.
There's no sound deadening which the place definitely needs; sound bounced about and it was loud.
I'd return to try something else but not sure this would be a familiar haunt.
Attentive service and food was fresh to a high standard. Enjoyable evening and we will be back. Nice Italian restaurant.
I’m a regular customer here and my favourite meal is chicken milanese! The food is amazing every time , cooked perfectly. The service is brilliant , every staff is extremely friendly. I’d recommend this restaurant to couples , families and anyone who wants a good run for your money.
Yet another great meal , this is probably our six or seventh now time over a fairly long period and always consistent. What more could you ask for. Highly recommend a visit you won’t be disappointed.
My favourite Italian restaurant around Berkshire. All dishes are freshly made with high quality ingredients. I love the idea of the open view kitchen. My favourite starter is the gamberoni and for main is the dolcelatte. My recommendation is 10 out of 10.
Lovely lunch, wide choice of gluten free food, tasty meals and friendly, fun service. Hadn't been there before but we were made to feel like regulars and we will be from now on!
