I just arrived from USA a few days ago, and my cousin and a friend had dinner here a couple of nights ago. It's always the best. It's my favourite food, and we don't have any good Indian restaurants where we live in Charkeston SC. So it's always a treat to come here. Greats staff and wonderful food. 👍👍

We had the most incredible food! The dishes that we ordered were Beautiful and so full of Flavour! The Chef worked hard on his Menu and you can definitely tell, it is Fantastic! The staff are very helpful and knowledgeable about the food that you are eating. We explained our Intolerance and an Allergy and we were reassured that the dishes that we wanted were safe after checking with the Chef. Photo of Menu and various dishes are below. After a disappointing visit to Bombay Story for our 20th anniversary it was nearly 8.20 and we still hadn’t had dinner.
My husband suggested trying the Sultan. The staff were very friendly and the food was delicious.
I tried a thali and although too much for me I enjoyed tasting lots of the dishes.
Thankyou to the Team there. You let us have a nice end to our anniversary day by finally getting a nice meal.😍

Delicious Indian food with chef's family recipes - I can't wait to go again to try more of the menu! Beautiful old beamed ceilings upstairs, with comfortable seating and all tastefully redecorated not long ago. Thank you to the manager, Raja, for making us so welcome for our first visit!

Really enjoyed Sultan. Visited twice over the last fortnight as I work in Wokingham on a regular basis. The place has an upmarket feel but without being too formal. The food is excellent and the service is good.
I had the Veg Karahi and Pilau rice. Portion size is perfect.
Tempted to try the Thali next time.

I ate feta cheese-spinach samosa and butter chicken, they were amazing! They were slightly spicy which made me like them even more:) The stuff were so nice, kind and helpful. I highly recommend this place!
Fabulous dinner! We had the taster menu with matching wines. Staff were lovely, especially the lovely smiling Sadi, they made our birthday celebration extra special. Would highly recommend
The Sultan Indian restaurant has recently reopened after a refurbishment and they have taken opportunity to open a cafe downstairs where we ate today. We went for the wholesome curry and Indian bread option choosing chicken tikka masala. As can be seen on photo, it came with an interesting lettuce selection. It was very good and not too filling. We talked to the owner and their plan s.
I visited the Sultan Balti for the first time for a little while as in the past it was always so good. Too my delight this restaurant as gone up a least a level. The owners have done a great renovation with a full redecoration. The exposed wooden beams of the restaurant look great and it makes for a high quality setting. The food menu has also changed with innovative and very tasty quality ingredients. The starters are all excellent. It is great that many items are sold per piece so you can make up your own mixed starter to enable the tasting of many of the dishes. Particularly good we’re the Tandoori King Prawns, Patiala Lamb Chops and Sultani Chicken Tikka. The main courses were equally tasty we particularly enjoyed the Chicken Chettinand and the Lamb Rogan Josh. You should not miss this restaurant the quality of the restaurant and food offering in my opinion is second to none in Wokingham.

I was surprised that the menu wasn't longer as it had changed quite a bit since I was last there. Price seemed to indicate a whole page of starters though that wasn't clear from what was written
Had another meal there with friends. Lovely thali would thoroughly recommend

This was the first time we visited this restaurant so wasn't sure what to expect. We came here with a Ukranian family we're hosting as the restaurant were very kind to offer a free dinner for Ukranias who came to the UK recently. Knowing that it was free, my expectations were that they'd probably give us something mediocre. How wrong was I! They not only covered all food and drinks, the taste was exquisite. We had a platter with so many different options, all of which were amazing. To top it all off, the service was fabulous. We've all agreed that we'll definitely come back. Well done Sultan and once again, a big thank you from all of us.

Visited last Thursday, absolutely superb, food delicious and staff so attentive. Just went there again today as I was dreaming about the lamb curry 🤣.
