I had to write this review, last night we had the best fish and chips I’ve had in ages. I stopped eating them because the fish would be too greasy and the chips over fried and more like crisps and just generally disappointing. Last night however Wai Wai fish and chips was delicious! We went there at 9.45 pm and the attitude of these people was amazing. Cheerful and helpful and the food was freshly prepared. Absolutely lovely. Will definitely keep going back

Excellent chips, batter was crisp with perfect portion sizes. Very fresh, though everything was made fresh as I was the only customer in. I will be returning!
Went to Wai for the first time last night for fish & chips, they were absolutely delicious, the fish was fleshy beautifully cooked in a lovely batter & the chips were perfectly cooked too. The couple serving greeted me with a lovely happy smiley welcome.

Tried for the first time today and I was not disappointed. The fish is lovely- big flakes in dark batter, which I like. The chips were good. The staff were polite and friendly.
Clean and tidy - always important. Portions generous but fish batter seemed over cooked, bland fish and flavourless. Chips ok - just not hitting that top note for me sad to say
Really good fish and chips, the battered sausages are fantastic, battered fish is freshly cooked on ordering. Lovely shop and staff! Highly recommended if you're looking for some tasty food
Generally I haven't been satisfied from chip shops take away but this one is tremendous. Decent portion and quality of fish and well cooked. Clean and friendly staff.
Popped in here for a fish and chip supper for the family on the way home. All cooked fresh, nice bit of fish and yummy chips. Plenty of parking space outside... large shop so OK for social distancing whilst ordering waiting and paying etc. Nice friendly staff too. Thank you.
