Lovely food. Wasn't busy when we arrived got a table no trouble. Had lasagne, bolognese and a hawian pizza 🍕 then desert had chocolate fudge cake, and profiteroles. Will definitely be visiting again when we are in the area again

We went for some snacks around lunch time which was quite nice but the dinner later on was fantastic. Staff were lovely and welcoming. The whole meal was great but the lobster ravioli in tumeric sauce for starter was a winner, as were the steaks which were cooked exactly as we liked and very good quality. The restaurant atmosphere was relaxed and romantic. It's a popular place and I'm not surprised. If we come back down we will definitely be back.

Wonderful evening. Top quality food and host. Extremely clean restaurant..beautiful fire. I had Mare pasta gluten free. Absolutely fantastic. Recommend 200% reasonably priced. Romantic but also suitable for families, something for everyone. Thank you for being so welcoming, 🙏🏽❤

Absolutely amazing place! I CANNOT say that enough! Brilliant staff, very friendly and professional and welcoming. Arrived without a reservation, no problem. Seated by the windows, good specials on the board. Goats cheese starter literally oozed deliciousness! Almost like a foam. Awesome. I had the fillet steak, honestly.... this was the best steak I ever had. Melted in the mouth. Blue cheese sauce, delicious. Chips nice, crispy and with rosemary. Amazing. My girl had crepes fiorentine? Again... delicious!! Piping hot with loads of flavour! Honestly... Treat yourself. Treat your family!

Lovely place, quiet when we went in. Good choice of food and the pizza was really nice. Staff are really cheerful and helpful. Definitely recommend the home made sticky toffee pudding.

Fabulous food, great service, lovely setting. It was a 40 minute drive up Weardale on a grey, wet afternoon for us to get there but it was well worth it. We'll definitely be back.

Family birthday meal for 7 , absolutely excellent cudnt do enough food very enjoyable but could be larger portions , quite expensive but worth it , defo go back , what a lovely team

Thursday lunchtime, so quite quiet. Good friendly service, we had pizza and calzone and the mussels in a spicy tomato sauce which were amazing

We sat outside as it was a nice evening very relaxed atmosphere with great staff and the food was lovely, bit of a wait as it was busy but well worth it.

Found this restaurant by accident but had a delicious birthday meal! I would definitely go back, if passing in the area

Perfect, meals are always nice, staff are very friendly and helpful, and atmosphere is just what you would expect. Plus tables outside for hot days.

Got take away pizzas but whilst I was waiting service was great friendly staff clearly knew their regulars and treated everyone so kindly I can't wait to get back up there and actually stay in for a meal xxx

I was a little hesitant about visit to a restaurant with my family. My young son is autistic and this makes eating out very difficult at times. One of the foods that he will eat is pizza . He is also upset by experiences, but he handled the visit to the restaurant amazingly. The staff were very helpful (even though they were busier than they had expected) and the pizzas, pasta and risotto were delicious. Thank you for an enjoyable family meal.

Usually have pizza or pasta which are usually good - had salmon with vegetables for a change - disappointing as salmon was over done and veg - one potato cut in half diced swede and carrots - very bland and watery - could have done with some nice greens maybe - pretty poor to be honest - if service and ambience not so good I would have returned the dish

Order takeout from here regularly and it's always great. Took my mam here tonight for a Mother's Day meal and it couldn't have been nicer! Food was gorgeous as always, great service, and lovely staff. Will definitely be continuing to eat here regularly! 👌

Excellent food and service . Things for kids would have been helpful - colouring pens paper etc .. might of been able to stay for another vino If wed had those things but lovely quick dinner and very tasty 😁

You couldn’t ask for a better Italians I love it, my daughter loves it, all my friends love it, food, atmosphere, decor, price, staff there is nothing negative you can say about it, Alberto,Arsan and all the staff make a visit to Buon Appetito perfect, everyone should come and visit this little gem in weardale ❤️

We were fitted in despite not having a reservation on a Friday night happy hour, with no fuss or drama, despite the restaurant being very busy. The food and service were impeccable as always, the staff friendly (attentive but not hovering) and my little boy is always made to feel most welcome. A true slice of Italy - great food and family friendly. Thank you, as always.

Absolutely love a trip to Buon Apetito whether it's a night out with the girls or a family meal you're always guaranteed a delicious meal and very good value for money. Staff incredibly friendly and very attentive. Would definitely recommend a visit

Great steak with peppercorn sauce. not the best Cannelloni we have ever had. Nice restaurant and service, order steak and Tiramisu and you'll have a great visit!

We went for a birthday meal last night, food was average. First time we have ever been, won't be rushing back for another special occasion. Waitress was really nice that was serving us.
