Top-end fusion of Indian and British dining, comfortable seating with discrete modern deco and equally discrete large Bollywood screen, noticeably fresh ingredients and delicate spicing, generous portions and surprisingly low pricing.
Vegetarians well catered for..
We'll off the vested track but well worth seeking out for an unhurried and civilised dining experience. An it looks the part. Appreciating UK economics, that entrance just cries out for a uniformed guard!

Sorry have to give 4 🌟 for a couple of problems.
When we first arrived we were made to feel like we had walked into somewhere we shouldn't have been.
The food was fantastic can't fault that at all. The service was brilliant.
However the drinks prices are extortionate. £5.50 for a pint. £8 for vodka and coke. Shocking.
Food prices are very good but drinks let you down.

Deliciously made modern Indian food. Polite staff. -1 star only because both the starters we ordered were with the same presentation and garnish (salad was missing olive oil). Need more attention to detail. Great experience and worth the money for Wolverhampton restaurant.

Went for a small family get together. First time. Food was really good. Was querying the place to begin with as location seemed odd. However, was a really pleasant experience and ambiance was good. Staff were great.

Great setting in a lovely hotel. Restaurant is very beautifully decorated, walk over fish tank and lots of little trinkets from indiam culture dotted about. The chefs are very experienced and the menu is diverse - there are food options that suit meat eaters and vegetarians.

Booked online confirmation within minutes to my email I'd. Arrived with my guests was greeted and seated, amazing calm atmosphere, 5 star menu superb. Quality is supreme and the best indian restaurant in the midlands.

Service not the best. Food was ok however, ordered Tikka Masala and it was so hot I had to send it back. Couldn’t have anything that wasn’t on the menu and People charged for a pint of lemonade and it wasn’t a pint. Hot towels wasn’t even hot, piece of cloth with luke warm water poorer on them. Not somewhere I would visit again.

I'm currently sat in Anju's at this precised moment and absolutely baffled by the fact we want to order additional food with our 'diwali special thali' and have been refused as we can only have the A le carte menu or the thali and cannot have anything extra. When questioning the staff as to why this is, she told us its not my decision and you can only still have one. I'm absolutely disgusted with the service from the staff, who now have an attitude problem because we have questioned them about this instant policy. So food aside the service is appalling and if your a foodie or not on a diet then this ain't the place for you. Oh and no manager in sight to deal with us

We was so looking forward to a meal as we had heard great reviews and to be honest the food was amazing but the staff let it down, the young lady who took us to our table was lovely and friendly but the young man who was the waiter was misreable - we also felt rushed - our table was booked for 8.30 we ordered poppadoms then we had starters but they arrived within seconds of eachother! 5 min after the we had finished the starter , the main meal arrived which we sent back as needed a 10-15 min break, when we asked to give us a bit longer the waiter just turned and walked away very rude!! after 15 min we was asked if we was ready for main meal and we agreed, that was the let down - probably will not be going back

I think it is one of the best Indian Restaurant in West Midlands. Butter Chicken and Mushroom Kurkure is must to have.

My favourite restaurant for quality indian food. Staff are great. Lovely restaurant. A bit dearer than average indian restaurant but well worth the extra

We had a wonderful evening. The staff were so welcoming and ready to help. We were taken to our table by a really friendly young member of staff, who was happy to help with a smile. The restaurant itself is elegantly decorated, with plush furnishings. A lovely relaxing atmosphere and soothing background music.
We were celebrating my husbands birthday and unplanned by us, the staff brought out a delicious slice of cheesecake with a candle in, and sang happy birthday, plus, our bill was reduced by 10% because it was a 'special' birthday.
We will certainly be going again, and cannot recommend Anjus highly enough. Thank you for a perfect experience.

The decor/layout and service was good but the menu was same old Indian dishes please start doing something different, experiment a little and get ideas from India.
