It's the first time I've ever been in there.its a really friendly pub.The beer is a reasonable price and 2 people won over £75 on the Bandits. The barmaids are friendly and I noticed that everyone knows them by name and the Blonde one has a brilliant Tattoo on her stomach and the other barmaid has got Great hair they're both pretty. I recommend this pub for a friendly night out

There is a wide selection of beer, wine, cider, lager and soft drinks on offer.
There are three separate rooms including a pool table.
There is a large covered area outside.
The outside seating area is well maintained and comfortable.
The inside of the pub has been decorated to a high standard. It has carpet now!
The toilets are clean and well maintained.
The customer service is friendly and efficient.
This Victorian pub is well with a visit.

One of the best pubs around here that has a great atmosphere but it ludicrously cheap. Don't do food but they don't mind you bringing your own

Excellent Pub, Plenty of Choices on Lagers and beers and Not too bad prices compared to some other Pubs.

Don't often visit Wolverhampton, especially when Wolves are at home.
Pleasant little boozer with big garden.
If you're in the West Park area and looking for a nice watering hole, I recommend this place. We'll be back 🙂

Hired the function room out for a family Christmas party and everyone loved it. Sound-proofed room so you don't have to worry about little ones making too much noise. Great beer at great prices.

Very nice pub, off the beaten track, good hosts, nice atmosphere.

Very good pub... Nice and clean... Bar ladies are very helpful... Am lovely lady called Jade was very good at her job... That's the reason for the 5 stars... Will be there again at some point....

This has always been a Mecca for real ale drinkers though in the past it has been a bit on the basic side as far as decor is concerned. Since its takeover and makeover last year it is now more comfortable and the prices have fallen. There are large screens showing sports and a nice beer garden. It caters for private functions and hosts live music events.

Great for a drink outside in the large spacious garden. The seating is well spaced to allow for social distancing. The outside screen can be seen on one side of the garden. The staff are friendly and welcoming .

Excellent back street pub. Pool table, sports om TV, large outdoor seating area. The choice of cask beers was limited but probably down to supply issues caused by Brexit.
Richard Wager
Quality place with quality beers. Pool table only £1. Decent place for a beer or several.

Excellent bar and staff looking forward being here more often could recommend highly enough.

Pub is up and down... In the sense sometimes it's busy with amazing people and fun and laughter and then other days it can be just you and the bar staff. But the pool table and juke box make up for the lack of atmosphere sometimes... Beer garden on a summers day is nice!

Nice looking back street boozer. Local CAMRA haunt. Food served, lots of real ale choice. Lovely beer garden with attached bowling green. Regular folk club upstairs. Very busy at times even though beer is expensive compared to other local pubs. Worth the occasional visit though.
Update 2011 beer now over £3.00pp (guest is £3.25). Not sure how they can justify it really.

A fairly decent pub located just outside the City centre.
Only 2 stars from Wolves Councils Scores on the doors which is surprising.
Loads of real ales alongside a magnificent garden and bowling green are somewhat undermined by very expensive prices.
Worth a visit although the pool room can become a little rowdy at times, so try to avoid that part of the pub!

I have marked this place down, as a result of the high prices eg £2.80 for guest ales; and also slow service. It does get very busy thoiugh, esp in summer, when the beer garden and bowls lawn are popular. And the beer is of good quality, in fairness.
They have Finger-in-the-Ear (Sorry, 'Folk nights') upstairs. No ta.
Very cliquey. Pool room is a bit scary, clientele!
