Had my 40th birthday party held up here last night in the newly refurbished Edwardian style function room, the venue is amazing very elegant and is in a prime location close to the stations and hotels. Ricki and the team were amazing so friendly and generous made everyone feel welcome. The food was top quality and everyone was commenting on how nice the food was. They worked so hard to make it very special and could not do enough for myself or my guests so would like to say thankyou to Ricki, the bar staff, security,dj and a massive thankyou to the chef and everyone else who made my birthday special. Could not have chose a better venue and would highly recommend this as a place not only to host your parties but to go for food or drink on any day.

I was here last night & the place has had a whole new refurb. Place looks great, didn't think I was in wolves!! I was the dj at a private party. In house sound system & lighting is fab. Staff were friendly & very helpful without no fuss. Definitely recommend to all as the location is great too. Best wishes to the management & staff
I would highly recommend the Prince Albert for there food & hospitality....I had my teenage daughters birthday meal there yesterday 17th October & there was 17 of us...we had the beautiful newly decorated private function room upstairs & it was set up just perfect for us all with balloons & the cocktail bar open so no need to go downstairs for our drinks....the food was excellent steaks...mixed grills ...chickens stacks starters & sides etc all beautifully cooked to our liking & presented well. Thumbs up to the chef & a massive thank you to Ricki Shaune & team for making my daughters birthday evening a night to remember...😘💯👌
Visiting Wolverhampton for the day, called in here for quick pint and snack. Lovely pub, extremely friendly helpful staff, nice choice of ales and v tasty shared plate of tacos. Thanks for the directions to the art gallery.

Had the best time for my mates party. Staff were top draw, cracking decor & reasonable drink prices. Could probably do with some aircon but we never had that when we was kids 🤣

Enjoyable evening had in this quite bijoux upstairs room. Imani's Dairy by the late Chantel Hall-Reid is a definite must-read.

what a transformation from the past , This pub back in the 80's used to be my local and i was in it most nights it had a real dodgy atmosphere back then however i'm so pleased its been updated its still the best pub in the midlands and best in Wolverhampton Well done to all those involved , Fantastic
Good offers on drinks, staff friendly! They keep the place nice and clean. You do ask you to leave when your table booking is over, even if there's nobody else in there!
Went out on Saturday night in Wolverhampton, ended up in here as everywhere else was a dive. Poor service and very expensive drinks. I was very pleasantly surprised at this venue, very chilled and relaxed environment. Bar staff were great and the service swift. The place was clean and friendly. Happy to say I'll be returning.
Had a fabulous evening here. Shane Shakespeare was very attentive couldn't have asked for a better barman. Would highly recommend the Prince Albert as the place to go in Wolverhampton when out on a evening. Will definitely be back when we go to the theatre in a couple of weeks. Called in on the off chance with a colleague for a meal on a Wednesday night and very glad I did. The barman/waiter was very friendly and helpful. A good choice of beers and sprits. A reasonable choice of food on the menu and tasty, hich was well presented in a clean environment. The only downside is that I live 2 hours away. Definitely reccommend and will call again if I am again in that part of the country.
I'd passed the Prince Albert many times and thought it looked inviting but hadn't bothered going in - boy, was that a mistake. The Prince Albert is wonderful and that's no exaggeration. My mother and I ordered food and it was reasonably priced, well-sized and delicious. The setting is also gorgeous, with trees hanging over the outdoor seating area which is ideal for a meal or a drink outside on a warm day. What really had us smiling though was the attentiveness and friendliness of the staff. Not only were they happy to accommodate allergy requirements, they were happy to chat in general and were just really lovely. Great place, only downside is that there's not much range with the food but given that everything else about the place is ace, you most likely won't be fussed!
Glad that the Prince Albert has opened up again. A vast improvement from when I came here a few yes ago. Such a lovely place to go for drinks. Ambience is so welcoming, clean ,fresh & a lovely place for drinks. Have come here ×2 as a short weekend stop. (Thurs &Fri ).The person behind the bar (John is so friendly, polite &curtious ). Will definitely come back again & again. It's a must even just to pop in for a quick drink. Can not praise this place enough.
Today we came across a lovely pub in Wolverhampton City Centre, today was their first day doing Sunday dinners which were £6.95 and £9.95 with a pudding! I must say it’s was DELICIOUS!!! We had the beef which was cooked to perfection real melt in your mouth and off a joint instead off a naf boil in the bag! It came with all the trimmings including cauliflower cheese!
For pudding I had Apple crumble and custard the portions were the perfect size not to small nor big!
Honestly if you are around the area and want a Sunday Dinner that beats your boil in the bag beef with smash! Definitely give this place a go! It was lovely
Fantastic venue we hired the prince Albert for our wedding and it was fantastic nothing was too much trouble , the staff were amazing , venue was clean fresh and quirky with the bowler hats as light shades and the patio area is fantastic , Liam and his team are a credit to the venue

A lovely garden to sit in to soak up the sun and the music.
