Took my wife for a meal last night ,
And WOW! Probably the best mixed grill I've ever had , the chicken was juicy (not dried up and nasty like you get elsewhere) , the pork was cooked to perfection , and the steak , although slightly overcooked for my liking , was juicy and tasted like heaven , portions were good size too , a great experience � thankyou
Fantastic staff and atmosphere. Always friendly and can stand at the bar and look beautiful any time. TBH fabulous place and helpful staff who are friendly. The food is great too and the quiz on a Thursday is a must with Garry Stevens

Stumbled upon the place popped in for a pint as you do.. ended up with 18 pound mega mixed grill telling well worth it was full all day and didn't wanna see a steak again I was that full
Great pub clean lots of space food s looked great smelt delicious...loos were clean..Elvis tribute was cracking...we thoroughly enjoyed the evening and will definitely be back
I don't mind if the bar staff don't see me straight away, but for a whole football to walk in ten minutes after me and get served before me would test the patients of a saint. Other than that moan, I really enjoyed the meal.

Great little area for children and dedicated t.v with kids channels to keep the young ones entertained. My go to place when taking my 2 year old out for food and a dance.

Well what a great decision that was! Food was absolutely spot on and very reasonable. If you like the footy they got that covered too but not in your face. Private booth seating and eating areas good selection of drinks. Very accommodating and welcoming. Rose and her team were lovely

Been living near Merry Boys for the best part of 20 years and had never ventured inside... today went in with my mom and it was really nice! A warm welcome from staff, clean, spacious... and the food we ordered was really nice! I had a steak and cheese baguette with onion chutney... my mom had the cod and chips with mushy peas, both from the light bites menu... both meals came to about £13 and again I can't stress how much we both enjoyed them... and we're pretty fussy eaters haha... clean cutlery, tables, the toilets too... and then Rose, the pub manager, couldn't have been lovelier... thanks for creating such a warm visit for us! 😃

Great pub relaxed staff friendly service good food my dog had steak & peas that was cut up for him he enjoyed it very much & thay have great beers & wines what more do you need to know!😜
