Went to have dinner. Food was delicious, I had beef Sri Lankan curry. Highly recommended - full of flavour, a little spicy but not too much, tasted nice and fresh. Beef was cooked perfectly. Service was nice and friendly too, the waitress came over to check if we were happy with food. The other plate in the photo is pulled lamb for starter, was good too. The pub was busy but the food came quickly. Seems to be a very popular place

Really good atmosphere and good service. The food was lovely, tasty and there were good choices of pub meals and unique country food. Guanie Fowl was interesting and not sure if it was just a small chicken or an actual Fowl.

I stopped at The Coach & Horses with some family for breakfast recently, and throughly enjoyed the experience. The breakfast menu is small but features everything that you could possibly want. I had the Full English Breakfast and really enjoyed it. It was well cooked and was the portion was generous. Service was friendly and efficient and I thought the prices were very fair for the quality of the breakfast.

Lovely pub. Two of my favourite beers on pump - Timothy Taylor's Landlord and Woodefords Wherry. Nice roast dinner, but not much beef compared to those who had lamb shank. Have the lamb shank.

We took advantage of the midweek ‘three courses for £20’ offer at the Coach & Horses recently. The food was great and very generously portioned, so it was excellent value for money. I had the halloumi chips to start, fish goujons for main and the panna cotta for dessert. Service was quite rude from our waiter at first, but he was a little warmer by the end of our meal. We’ll definitely be back for another midweek meal soon.

First time eating here. They were very busy but managed to fit us in. Food was great. Reasonably priced. Drinks were expensive though. £4 for a flat coke. Asked for the bill. Took ages to come and then had some meals on it that we didn't order so they went off and corrected it. Overall really happy and will go back. I had nachos. and they were really yummy. My daughter (4) had the pasta. She really enjoyed it. Ate the lot. Also ordered halloumi burger and the kids pizza and chips. also both were enjoyed.

Sister chose this for a low key 70th birthday celebration. Only five of us. One vegetarian chose the set menu , very good value, the rest had a la carte. Good choices, friendly , efficient service from all the staff. Three had 3 courses!!!! Cost was reasonable, given quality and presentation of food. Very fond of all the Deben Inns. Had not been to the Coach and Horses for some years. Will try not to leave it so long. Thank you .

Open all day for good food, generous portions, great chips, spacious lovely well decorated pub. Friendly helpful staff. Good space for a pram and baby changing facilities in disabled toilet. Plenty of parking and outdoor seats looks good for the summer. And it has Aspalls.

We enjoyed our Christmas Lunch here. All the food was cooked well, and was served promptly. One of the best Christmas Puddings I have had in a restaurant. Overall a very good experience.
