Hidden in the station building I suspect most visitors wouldn't know it was there. This is a classic British cafe, but with modern sensibilities, salad with bacon sandwich a good example. Staff are fun and charming. Its not large so recommend booking if you can. Was full of locals who obviously know a good thing when they see it. Good place to take visitors who haven't seen a British cafe.

A throwback to the traditional English cafe; wonderful food, very friendly service and excellent value for money. Unsurprisingly the venue is very popular so reservations are recommended from mid morning through lunch service. If you're going to try the large brunch then skip breakfast!

Happened upon this excellent little cafe by sheer coincidence one Saturday morning. Received a warm reception from the staff, the English Breakfast was fantastic and reasonably priced too. In keeping with its railway tradition the decor is themed with nostalgia from the railroad. Well worth a visit ☺️

We had a most enjoyable lunch here sat outside in their garden. Plenty of Covid precautions in place made us feel safe. The food was of excellent quality, huge portions and a fair price. We would have no hesitation in eating there again.

I have to give 5 stars because the food, drinks and service were all just perfect. My photo might not truly show but they must have a great chef out back because every element was cooked faultlessly. It was the best cooked English breakfast I've had in about 2 years and I've tried so so many, at much higher prices as well. In considering, i couldn't actually fault it in a single way. The staff are down to earth and lovely. My Berry smoothie was really delicious! Coffee very nice. The staff are down to earth and lovely.
I just wish there was room for better toilet facilities. There is only one toilet and its not the best and uncomfortably close to the kitchen. However, everything was so great I still can't rate the whistlestop lower then 5 stars despite this!

Our 'go to' place for breakfast/brunch in Woodbridge, especially before boarding a train on a day out. Very friendly staff, excellent selection of food and drink and very reasonably priced. Dog friendly and ourside seating during warmer weather

Always a treat to come here for breakfast. The food is well priced and is of good quality. My only pet peeve is that they don’t serve pancakes/American style breakfast.

My wife and I visited the whistle stop on a Friday afternoon, we were greeted by a pleasant railway waiting room repurposed into a restaurant.
We ordered two latte's which were served shortly afterwards which were nice and hot.
We ordered our food, which took a short while and were so surprise not only at the quality of the food but also the quantity.
Full marks the the staff you do your employers proud👏

Lovely cafe, lovely staff and the food is reasonably priced is is very good!
Highly recommend, I stop here for brunch often as there is always tables free and is easy to get too. There is also outdoor seating if your stopping off there after a dog walk.

Stopped off for a bacon roll and a cuppa - I was told the bacon rolls would be half hour! - however it was more 20 mins which was good - it was very nice and we sat outside. The staff seemed under pressure and I did notice that they were advertising for staff - so hopefully this will be resolved soon. Fully staffed I would definitely recommend this place.
