We went as a birthday celebration for my partner and we had the most wonderful time. The rooms were very clean, tasteful and modern, the beds were so soft and comfy and the rooms comes with a hair dryer and an iron which was very convenient. The staff were very friendly, kind and helpful it was great service throughout our stay. The facilities were amazing, the spa in particular was wonderful the swimming pool and sauna was my favourite. We had a delicious dinner and breakfast which was beautifully presented and tasted just as good. Not a flaw in our stay, the location was peaceful and Seckford hall was beautiful and had a great historic atmosphere.
This was our second visit and even more memorable than the first. Everything was absolutely perfect!!! Warm welcome and attentive staff. The Spa was excellent the outside garden a gem complete with jacuzzi x 2, sauna, cold bath, shower and lounge area. Dinner in the restaurant was amazing. We all had varied dishes that were both well presented and tasteful. After a great sleep in a beautiful room complete with copper roll top bath we had a fabulous breakfast. Food again of a high standard and plentiful. Rest assured we will be back!! Thank you so much 😊
I booked an autumn deal that included the room, dinner and breakfast. The house is a beautiful building and has a lovely feeling about it. The service we received from staff from the welcome we received at reception, to spa staff, bar man and dinner was superb. The service and food at 1530 restaurant was impeccable.
The only issue we did have was that there were a few cobwebs and some dust in our room, but this did not have a negative impact on our stay.
The spa facilities were relaxing and very enjoyable.
For a romantic getaway or a break away from the world, I would recommend a stay here
Myself and my husband got married here back in May 2023. We had absolutely the best day we could have imagined. Claire who supported us from the initial enquiry up to the day of the wedding was amazing, nothing was ever a problem and she communicated well throughout the process. Georgia who was our coordinator on the day was absolutely incredible, she put us both at ease, was a calm presence and was so friendly and personable. The food at the wedding breakfast and for the evening was fantastic, many of our guests commented on how good it was.
Many of our friends and family stayed at the venue and were pleased with their rooms, food and the grounds.
We would definitely recommend getting married at this venue.
We enjoyed our stay. All staff were so friendly and attentive. Conversation and banter with the bar staff was excellent. Restaurant staff friendly & provided excellent service. Love little touches like the candles at the restaurant entrance & in reception. The outside grounds are well kept and nice views. Only criticism was the room which needed updating (stained carpets, mould around shower). No bedside table so nowhere to put a glass of water or phone to use as alarm. But overall we would come back. Very enjoyable.
I hosted a corporate event recently at Seckford Hall, Georgia the events manager was extremely helpful and the timings were spot on, the facilities were excellent, lots of comments from our attendees on how impressed they were with the venue and how it's the ideal location as it is just off the A12. We had two meetings back to back, one for 20 delegates and a second meeting with 50+ delegates, the Great Hall was the perfect room for this size group and the food was delicious. Thank you Seckford for your hospitality.
We stayed in this beautiful hotel for just 1 night as we were going to a wedding locally. The hotel was stunning. The staff were 1st class, they couldn’t do enough for us. Can’t thank everyone for making our stay such a pleasant experience. We look forward to going back so we can have more time to enjoy this beautiful building and all the facilities on offer .
I was given a voucher for a beauty treatment at the spa for my birthday. I booked a luxury pedicure and I can honestly say it was the best one I've ever had. My therapist, Ruby, was absolutely delightful and I ended up having a wonderful chat with both her, her fellow therapist Ella and the lady next to me who was also having a pedi. Gorgeous surroundings, plenty of parking and a really lovely experience. There are lots of wonderful things planned for the spa this year and next and I'll definitely be back. Highly recommended.
I had a lovely leg scrub/massage and a pedicure at the hotel's spa last week. The treatments themselves were incredible and all of the staff were professional but friendly and attentive, even those not involved in the treatments.
I was impressed with the finer details too, such as lemon water, pre treatment screening and a personalisation to treatments.
The outside garden space is looking great - I believe it is newly furnished, it would've been a great place to take my book for a few hours if I had had the time. Really impressed with all of the changes that have been made since my last spa treatments and just a lovely, calm ambience to be in for some rest. Highly recommend.
