Another fantastic Woodbridge pub; the staff are great, there is a great range of good food and beverages. I like how this pub has a number of different rooms, so you can have privacy for private functions if you want it.
We also went for a work event where the service was also great and they manage
We went there for an evening meal, having not tried the Bull before. Dining room was lovely and well spaced seating. The service throughout the evening was very good. I ordered the Sutton Hoo roasted chicken breast, which was served with potato anna, orange glazed carrots and the most fantastic jus.
Very nice roast lunch for mother's day. Meats very tender. Dessert lovely, though rhubarb could of been more punchy. Service very good. Will definitely return!!
Attended a Menta network session at this venue, it's really lovely. Google maps got very confused about its location but that's not the owner's fault, do be aware you may be misled, it's at the bottom of the triangle not the top.
Provided food was good, as was the filter coffee and the networking w
We were recommended to go here by the landlord of the Angel. I am glad we went, the choice of ales was excellent, the food was great, and it was really relaxing. Would recommend.
Perfect except for the worst Rarebit ever made. The service was exemplary, the range of ales and other drinks good, and an open fireplace very welcome. Unfortunately the rarebit (see pic) was bitter, had little cheese, and frankly was a slop. It was probably the worst tasting food I can recall. Cert
Just one word covers every area for my review....Outstanding.
Service, Quality, Food, Rooms and Environment. Well done to everyone here for making this the best place to dine or stay at in Woodbridge.
We stayed one night at The Bull Inn and had a very pleasant stay. The room was decent, albeit a tad on the basic side, but the bed was comfortable enough. The pub is very nice and the breakfast in the morning is very good. One minor issue we had is the heating starting banging in the middle of the n
Freehouse in Suffolk is not the norm. Set in the heart of Woodbridge this a fine Old English pub. Worth the trot out of the high street.
Stupidly turned up to another restaurant without booking and were turned away... called The Bull Inn, who made space for us (2 adults + 1 toddler) with only 10 minutes notice! Service was fantastic and the food was spot! Big portions... enough to make a small plate for the wee one without getting he
We only stayed for 1 night but wished we had stayed longer.
Staff were really friendly & helpful. Nothing was too much trouble. Had a delicious lunch of goats cheese melt & my wife had the toasted sourdough with a dip. Fab. Great location, couldn't fault it.
Visited the bull inn this evening with family including my one year old son with allergies they really looked after him making sure it was safe for him to eat a meal with us. I felt totally confident in letting him eat as they reassured me that his food is cooked and prepared separately will definit
Comfortable room with small bathroom in historic hotel in great location. Nice breakfast and helpful staff. Bit of noise from people in street outside at closing time. Would stay again.
Stayed in the both annex rooms while visiting family in Woodbridge, excellent value and it really suited our needs. Being able to park outside the door, and a level entry shower with anti slip mat were just what we need for an elderly member in out party.
Only drawback was lack of chairs to relax i
Went here for lunch and had the Cauliflower soup and veggie bean burger. Great value for money and exceeded our expectations in the quality of the food, and presentation. We also both appreciate real ale and although the choice was limited, we loved that they were not the 'regular' run of the mill (
Absolutely delicious food every time we visit. This time I had the mushroom risotto, and it was the best risotto I’ve ever had. My husband had the pork belly which he said was incredible.
The people are always so friendly and the chef is amazing.
Highly recommend.
I went there with my girlfriend. Nice food, drinks, vibe, rooms, history. The staff were incredible! Makes you feel like home.
Stayed here 2 nights in February. Right in the centre of Woodbridge, a town well worth a visit .
