Caffe Demetre

This Demetres is super packed on weekends. I had to wait for an hour to get a seat. The menus is good but management can do better by adding more fruits (aside from bananas and strawberries) and healthier desserts options. The prices are high for the quality of ingredients. Customer service is good and friendly. As a vegan I would not go there again except for having tea and socializing with friends.

This place is definitely one of my favourite and a gem in the GTA. The wait staff are always friendly and attentive, the portions are massive and delicious and everybody I bring here is absolutely immersed in their desserts. The hot drinks are delicious and so are the cold but in my opinion definitely go for the Belgian waffle desserts you won’t be disappointed. Will definitely be returning in the near future and keep up the great work.

Demetres is a great place to visit when you are looking for something sweet! I stopped by on a Thursday night and waited about 5 minutes before being seated. Once seated, we waited about 10 minutes before someone even came by the table! By that time we already knew what we wanted and placed our order. The dessert we had was presented nicely and tasted great. Would come back again.

It was okay. I would prefer other branches though. This one looked outdated, place was smaller (must be reallypacked during summer) and tables weren't strategically placed. I am glad though that they are putting the ice cream inside the crepe again. I am not sure if it's juat this branch or if they are all doing it again now. Prices has gone up, quality of food still the same. Just didn't liked thw atmosphere in this one.

It was ok not that great! We just came from Demetres and not excited at all that we finally been to this Cafe. Read a lot about the cafe so it was a long due. We ordered Choco Ono and a cup of Cappuccino. Choco Ono was very very sweet and it was “recommended” in the menu(star in the menu indicated as recommended) and in Cappuccino they added a teaspoon of Cinnamon powder(which I hate the most). Didn’t knew that they’ll add cinnamon powder otherwise I had ordered a Latte. So I guess this was it... not going back there ever again.
