Absolutely perfect- we took a last minute overnight stay in a beautiful October weekend and were delighted. James and Claire have a lovely small holding with goats, pigs, chickens, alpacas (as guards to protect the chickens from fox attack - every day a school day!) and home grown fruit and veg.

Really amazing campsite, really clean toilet blocks and warm showers. Good washing up facilities and generous pitches. Firepits and logs available to hire which is lovely; being marshmallows and sticks so you can toast them 😋
A lovely little campsite that I don’t want to tell you about as I want to keep it a secret! We stayed Monday - Friday (noon to noon) during the school holidays. The site is very relaxed in terms of not needing to check into reception prior to accessing your pitch… all of which is explained very clea

Lovely Camp site. Friendly relaxed owners, Very helpful. Child friendly dogs. Lovely park for the children to play. Very out Of The way and secluded. Eggs sausages and bacon was delicious - bell tent was well equipped - thoroughly enjoyed our visit.
Varied spaces to camp in, good showers and toilets, plus a cafe or pizzas available at certain times. Lots to explore in the local area from heathland to the lagoon at Shingle Street. Plus you get a range of animals next door along with a playground just off site.
Lovely peaceful site . Dogs on lead but open wooded area behind . Chickens are running around campsite .. cafe on site ...farm animals . Walk through piggery . Will nice friendly place . Pub 5 mins walk away through field or 10 mins walk on the road .Tap into their web site for info .
This was our 3rd visit. ( we live 4 hours drive away) Claire and James are so welcoming, accomadating and friendly. The blue rabbit cafe food is fantastic. So is the community pub ' the sorrel horse' 5mins walk away. Perfect location to relax and enjoy good food with family or friends.
Nice tent pitches with enough space. Excellent wood fired pizza Friday nights. Great play area just outside the campsite which was very well used
