whats not to like good pub grub from 12 noon to 9pm monday to saturday, sunday 12 noon to 7pm. On Thursday's free pool table from 5pm onwards. Has a darts board if you want to throw a few at no cost. Staff happy and friendly. I believe this pub been over looked due to many different owners for the last few years. Its dog friendly, has live music every other weekend. And of course through the day very low key music in the back ground. If you want to just chill and have a lazy afternoon then this is the place. Good parking and what a view looking over to stunning.

Food was outstanding , good value for money, was made to order . Restaurant very clean and a lovely atmosphere.

Lovely family friendly pub. Excellent home made food, with vegetarian and vegan options available. Large open space outside for children to run around. Friendly chatty staff. Allergies accommodated for. Thank you Bonny Cravat for making are first visit to your pub an enjoyable one. Next time we are in the area, we will definitely be popping in.

Stopped here for an impromptu lunch today and really enjoyed it! Food was lovely, restaurant and garden was well presented but the start of the show was the bar maid/waitress! The young lady was on her own on a busy afternoon and ran the place almost faultlessly! She is a hell of an asset to the place, I hope the owner sees this review and Rewards her for holding the place together, literally running between the garden, bar, restaurant and kitchen. It was nothing short of outstanding! My only minor gripe is serving food on a piece of slate is a big no in my book 😂

Great country pub, good range of drinks, service very good, food excellent although the meat platter would benefit from a dipping sauce sweet chilli or garlic mayo otherwise all good

Had my daughters wedding venue here, the landlady went above and beyond, the food was beautiful, the layout really good, everything flowed

We visited here when we were staying in the area. We ordered the platters and nachos, which were yummy. The cocktails were great too. Good service also ☺️

Lovely food a bit slow to deliver but worth the wait all fresh n clean good tasting food enough to fill you up they also bring extra veg in a separate dish of red cabbage I would recommend this place.

Great menu. Great chef. lots of vegetarian alternatives (which is rare) Great service from caring, chatty, beautiful bar staff. This pub should be constantly packed.. if you are ever in the area.. go and see for yourself. X

Traditional pub in the centre of pretty village of Woodchurch. Good ales, excellent menu, pool table, dart board, friendly service, fruitie, what more could you asked. We had a couple of pints and a sandwich from lunchtime menu - could not fault.

Very nice food but could of done with a few more roast potatoes but very helpful very Polite and food very nice

Sharing plate of roasted meats was great! Lots of outside space. Enjoyed our time here!

This place has been taken over by new people the staff (especially new girl Lauren) and food were lovely a very nice place to relax. My only downside was the sharing platter it costs £17 and all that you get are 2 tiny chicken wings (one each) 4 onion rings 7 tortilla chips egg cup size humus a tiny jacket potato half each 2 tiny bits of flat bread and a miniscule bit of salad. Now it's probably the right size because it's only a starter but the price tag is just way too big it really was only worth £10 so come bonnie cravat you are doing so well in every other way sort out the price of your sharing platter! Truly though a wonderful place X X X

We are so lucky to have the Bonny Cravat as our village pub - it a is winner! Great sized portions, extensive menu and all cooked and presented well. Scampi & chips were juicy & tasty. Dean had bubble & squeak with cheese omelette & bacon - he loved it. Lovely friendly, helpful staff and owners. We regularly go and have enjoyed it every time. Thank YOU Bonny!

First time going to this place and it won’t be the last, went here on a Sunday and we a Carvery which was amazing good selection of meats and veg , also treated ourselves to a Eton mess dessert which was amazing and only £11.95 per person when having a Carvery and a dessert which is an absolute bargain , nice pub atmosphere too and the service was great throughout especially the table service , highly recommended I look forward to the next visit already

Found this pub on way home and so glad we did. Friendly staff and delicious food. Lovely garden so kids could play while we relaxed. Felt like a real pub.

Best Sunday Carvery in the world ever...both rare and medium beef available as well as pork lamb and chicken...proper joints homemade yorkies roasties parsnips cauliflower cheese etc etc

Went to the bonny today, had a great meal, staff are lovely and friendly. This is a lovely little village pub xx
