Miller & Carter

Was working nearby and had a few hours break in-between jobs. Went with a friend for lunch as it was the nearest branch and I'm so glad we did. The service was great and our Portugese waiter (whose name I didn't take) was fabulous. Popped in again in the evening for a quick drink and the waiter came over to say hi.

Lovely on the inside. Outside of building does not do the inside no justice however it is still very pleasant. Food was lovely our waiter was 10:10 great personality and vibe. Toilets were a mess the ladies all were dirty needs more attention, hourly checks maybe. Kids burger was smaller than expected but still good.

I visited Miller and Carter in Woodford Green for the first time, it wasn't my first time at a Miller and Carter's however, but this experience definitely superseded my previous ones. The waitress who served us Kimmy was extremely attentive. My mother unfortunately has a few allergies, Kimmy went out of her way to make sure that the food my mum ordered wouldn't cause any reactions. I have to say I don't think I've seen this before, I'm sure it happens in other establishments, but it was greatly appreciated. Our food came out in a timely manner, I didn't feel we were waiting for anything for a long time, the food was nicely presented and most importantly it was of good quality. I left feeling very satisfied with what I ate. It made the occasion we arrived for a 60th birthday all the better. Would I recommend Miller and Carter Woodford Green yes I would. Especially if the care is like this all the time. Which it turns out it is, as on the way out, my mum pointed out another waiter who had been attentive towards her on her previous visit. So thank you very much Kimmy and the waiter whose name i unfortunately wasn't able to get.

First time dinning here last week. Good service during the time we went, it was not too busy for late afternoon lunch/dinner on Saturday. We tried the chef special.. Some of the beef was abit chevy and tough. Other then that overall was nice food. Lots of seating area for small or big numbers of people.

The food was really nice, both enjoyed it. The beed sauce over steak is something else. I thought the spacing of each meal was good too. Staff were nice and friendly. I somehow managed to get a parking ticket while parked in the restaurants car park. It was pitch black and I didn't see any signage nor did I get a prompt from the staff. Not happy about that. I've yet to look into it. Food was decent. But watch out. Edit: I went back to the restaurant and they cancelled my parking ticket. You need to register your car when you go in. The staff don't always tell you. Added 1 more star.

Group of 10 birthday meal yesterday. I, and the rest of the group had a great time here. The food is excellent, with a solid selection of steaks to choose from (they do other food as well). Service was very good too, our waitress worked very-hard to accommodate our needs. I also received a lovely birthday desert which tasted divine. The lighting is quite dim, offering a cosy atmosphere. It's very neat and clean inside with a warm flavour. I liked the fact there was no music, so we could chat without having to shout over loud sounds. It's family friendly, has a decent car park. I and the others would certainly recommend coming here for food, any day of the week. Reasonably priced as well. As this is a chain, I cannot vouch for any of the other branches, but if it's the same quality as this one then go for it!
