I live close to the station and we always go out of our way to get the superior quality of fish and chips you get here. You can order ahead to avoid the queues that are often out of the door. Note to competitors, we go here for the quality of fish where the batter is crisp and never soggy or greasy (Mr Chippy) and the chips are fluffy with the right amount of crispy bits at the bottom.
It's a real chippy - spuds are peeled/cut on site. Generous portions. Chips are tasty. Got all the pies and fish choices. So you get what you came for!
Since i moved to london 7 years ago, i havent found a better chippy. The chicken burgers are so good and the people always have a smile on their face
We were well fed. The restaurant is cozy, bright and clean.
Official Statement! 'This is a banging chipshop'. Saw other people ahead of me with their purchase and thought "that looks good, I'm in for a treat" . Was not wrong. Chips golden and crispy on the outside, white and fluffy on the inside.
If in area give this place a go. Nearly gave it the full five. Without a doubt a solid 4 and half.

Been coming here for years as we believe it is the best chippy in the area. The food is always cooked to perfection, great fish, pies, chicken, scampi, sausage etc and my favourite chips are sold here! They also sell kebabs which look good, but we've never tried those. Staff are very friendly and hard working, and you can call ahead to get your order ready to collect. They have really looked after us throughout the pandemic, installing distancing and hygiene measures immediately we hit lockdown to make it safe to collect. All great value for money too. Highly recommended.
The best fish & chips in the area and great staff. Never had a disappointing meal from here. They can be busy so best to phone your order then collect, saves you standing around.

Always very friendly, good prices and fresh food. Gets quite busy on weekends but worth the wait. Would definitely recommend the chicken shish, sauces they give are amazing and generous portion of salad on the side.
A good chippy isn't easy to find but this one is excellent. I haven't bought the fish yet, but the chips are always fresh and delicious, the sausages and fried chicken are of very good quality and the portion sizes are generous without being over the top. The shop itself is very clean and presentable and staff are plentiful and friendly.
Decided to come to this place even though it's well out of my way. I have to say I was not disappointed. The fish was freshly fried and tasted good, the chips were also fried well enough for crunch but still fluffy inside.
Staff and service was friendly and the price was very reasonable. I'll be coming back again in a couple of weeks!
Just fantastic and everyone knows it. Last time I went there was w queue out the door. The chips are always fresh crispy yet buttery smooth inside. I have had the cod twice and it's always clean, crispy perfectly coated and no big oily sections which ruin a nice piece of fish. Parking is a little bit sketchy but there are spaces.

Friendly service even got some delicious chips while waiting for our order. Large cod was cooked to order so had to wait but well worth it. Great fish and chips will be back. Well done!
Not too much batter on the fish and the fish was good quality. Chips were tasty. Only slight downside is the saveloy should be kept in a liquid (rather than left on the heater) to stop the skin going hard/stale, although mine tasted fine as probably not been there too long.
Best fish and chips in the area! Always massive portions and never once had bad food. For me it’s the only fish and chip shop I’ll eat from round here...
