Came here tonight with friends as my friend was raving about it.
The food was delicious with perfect sized portions.
I was not sure what to order so I asked what they recommended and he made me something that wasn’t even on the menu.

We used to live nearby for a few years and never went there, although had heard good things about it. Then one evening off the cuff, we gave it a try and have been regulars ever since. There are very few Indian restaurants that are pretty full all week, so I always make a point of booking. We are always well looked after with a very reasonable bill and excellent food. They've been there over 30 years, so they must have got it right and I believe the decor is the original, so it's like going back to the past although no flock wallpaper, but magnificent portions. Usually crowded with nice customers. Highly recommended. Just booked for tomorrow now.
Decided to go here last night before a round at top golf.
I've got to say though the chicken korma was really nice and tasty, the waiter was very cool and nice. Service was good.
It's not a 5 star as the recommended food dish was okay at best and their mix grill was okay, nothing to shout about. The garlic naan could've been bigger.
We spent 47 for 3 people. 4 mains, 3 breads, extra rice and drinks.
I’ve been going here for several years, and I’ve got to say this is the best Asian restaurant I’ve been to. (Maybe even the best restaurant). The staff are very friendly, and the food is just immaculate. When the wife kicked me out and took the kids, I was very sad, but then I came here and I almost forgot about the whole situation. The food is that good!!
If I stay in Chigwell, I always eat here. I've been loads of times and the food is excellent without being overly expensive. It's also not too spicy hot as standard, but they will adjust it as you like so it'll suit most people looking for a good quality, value for money curry.
Been going here for over 35 years and always very happy to return. Food is really good and the service first rate. The owner nevers fails to greet us. Always a treat!
Just had a takeaway delivered from here, never used them before and felt I needed to write a review. The food was excellent quality, portions were a good size and was delivered on time. We'll definitely use them again
I regulary get take away from there.Food is excellent and is authentic bengali cuisine. My colleagues and friends drive from a distance to either eat there or pick up take away from there. Price is good, service is good. They are always busy aswell just goes to show how popular they are
My favourite Indian restaurant in London. Staff are hard workers and very polite. I always enjoy my food when either eating in or out. Definitely, recommend it.
