Nice place to browse around Most things are over priced.. like most garden centres Food produce is well over priced though The cafe however is reasonably priced Very nice selection of cakes & drinks are pretty much same prices as others The large cappuccinos/lattes are however more like a small that you'd get elsewhere All round nice place though & worth a browse :)
Today was a trip to Woodmansey ( Beverley ) Garden Centre for dinner. ( lunch ) after walking there from Thearne we had worked up quiet an appitite so we settled on GIANT fish and chips for myself and my daughter and for my 2 year old grandson we ordered a childs meal of pasta in tomatoe sauce and cheese. 2 iron brews and a milk. £36.. so at that price it needed to be good. What a let down . The fish wasnt even big never mind GIANT. It was mainly batter which was rock hard and very thick. We ended up peeling the batter away from it. Not nice at all. The pasta on the other hand ....for a kids meal was very substantial but would of said spaggetti rather than pasta and the bread was a rock hard crispy thing that my grandson couldnt bite . So the restaurant needs to sort that out. The rest of the garden centre however is amazing . Still pricey but some gorgeous , tasty treats to be had. Lovely plant selection , inside and out. Great craft section and clothing department and a beautiful area inside the Maidenhead aquatics where you can purchase equipment , tanks , plants, fish etc for beginner aquarists to the seasoned hobbyist.
Well worth a visit if you have money to spare but keep away from the fish unless its in Maidenhead aquatics . Large car park, great friendly staff but useless at getting condements right . 3 different attempts ( 3 different staff) to get Tomatoe sauce , salt and vinegar. Ended up with more tarter sauce. A sachet of vinegar or salt and pepper so we gave up on that too. Some great products in the garden centre but big prices to go with them . X
Excellent garden centre. Good cafe, range of stock and easy parking and access.
Massive garden centre. Stocks everything you need for the garden, decking, patio and Indoor plants. Good aquatic centre, stockist of tropical and marine fish, plants, tanks and accessories. The coffee, cake and food hall is very good. Some items are a little more expensive than necessary, however much better than Coletta's on variety and price.
We are regulars to the garden centre in the summer as we can walk with our dog buggy and any visiting pooches
It would be great if there was a section inside the cafe for dogs in the colder months so we could have a cuppa in comfort then we’d give 5*
Love looking around this garden centre. Very Christmassy at the moment. Nice selection of cards for all occasions. Good coffee in the cafe. A little free treat as well 😊.
Amazing environment and first class service and facilities- excellent customer service, good quality food - very comfortable and friendly atmosphere.
Nipped in for coffee and a walk round lovely place lots of quirky presents and the butchers was well worth a visit
Lovely garden centre with a nice cafe. Prices for plants were very reasonable.
