Woolacombe Fryer - Woolacombe - Photo album

Awesome tasting fish and chips but a decent price tag as well. Large cod and chips and £13.50. Lovely batter and fish was superb. Kids meals also decent. Beware going at 5pm when it opens. Took 50mins from joint the queue at the corner of the road. Wait till 6!
Some of the best fish and chips I’ve ever had, eaten as they should be, on a bench out of the paper with a lovely sea view. It took about 45 minutes from joining the queue to being served but that’s to be expected on a lovely summer’s evening when the beach was packed.
For the very first time in my 64 years, I journeyed to Woolacombe and indulged in a delightful fish supper. Our adventure commenced at lunchtime, opting for the convenience of takeaway. To our surprise, the queue wasn't lengthy. We placed our order and, impressively, it was prepared and ready very q
It is only open 6 hours in the afternoon with a break. Long queue on a busy afternoon. Fish and chips were good and i would say fish was slightly overdone and a little bit on a dry side but it was definately fresh. Worth trying. 20 minute queue to order and another 15 minutes to pick it up when read
Experience one of the finest Fish & Chips in area. The fish is delightfully crispy and remarkably fresh. Enjoy their excellent service with a side of congenial staff. The place tends to be busy, especially on weekends. Be sure to arrive early to avoid queues.
Wow! Super friendly (and busy) staff. This is a busy place, which isn't surprising considering how bloody good their fish n chips actually are. All cooked to perfection. We really rate this place.
Great food dispite the long waits on a busy day, which is fine and expected. Very friendly staff. One star off for the underwhelming portion sizes, my skinny 8yo son managed a whole adult large battered sausage and chips (albeit after a day on the beach) I think given the prices it's fair to expect
I am very fussy with fish and chips.. This was the best I have ever had.. Cooked fresh and just right. Love it.
Went here on good Good Friday and there was a pretty long queue. The queue went down very slowly and once ordered it took another 20 mins to get the food. I presume it's a lot quicker on a normal day. The food was very nice once we had it and was decent portions.
Great fish and chips, curry sauce was a great compliment to go alongside. Staff were friendly, and service was prompt. Food delicious.
5 Stars from me! Great fish and chips and they even used extra paper to wrap them as I was on the motorbike!
Always a queue so expect to wait at least 15-20 minutes as they seem to make all fish fresh to order. By no means are they slow though! Organised ticketing system and the guys and gals were operating at full steam ahead, all the time. Very impressed with the service. Extremely fresh fish with crispy
Can't understand why this had only a 4.1* as my family and I had fish and chips, and the chip are proper chips and not frozen ones and the fish was fresh in light batter and just the right amount of salt and vinegar, not cheap but we don't have them everyday.
