Best fish and chips in the area. You’ll need cash and best to order ahead because they’re cooked fresh. Great food.
Well-ccoked and tasty. A bit of a wait (35 minutes from order to carrying it awayl) BUT everything was cooked fresh to order and my visit was at 7.20 on a Friday night! Worth the wait.
Haven’t used this before place in ages. So it was a pleasant returning tonight. The premises were spotlessly clean. The two people behind the counter were extremely polite. As for the food ….. awesome! Best fish I’ve tasted in a long time
Delicious, fresh well cooked fish and chips. If you phone in your order they always have it ready in the time promised. Wouldn’t go anywhere else.

I think they do the best fish and chips I'm the area. However, the service can be a bit chaotic as they often put telephone orders into the pan when you arrive to pick it up.
But polite staff, reasonable price
Lovely fish and chips cooked to order so you now it's fresh. When the weather's nice there are some benches opposite. You can enjoy your food in comfort there's even a bin for the rubbish.
A long wait but definitely worth it. Everything cooked to order so is very fresh. No hard fish that has been sitting around for ages. Excellent service.
Excellent food. Fish covered in great quality batter, accompanied by tasty, well prepared chips. Patience is appreciated, as the Covid 19 precautions do cause difficulties. However, the food is worth the waiting.
We visit at least once a year because the food is great and the village centre is idyllic. We were even serenaded by church bell ringing practice.
The battered cod is probably the best around but if the fish isn't dried off enough before it is put in the paper bag you do tend to remove the batter along with the bag when you get home. Had to wait 45 minutes in the cold draught of the open door of the shop on Saturday night - brrr!!!! People h
After working in Woolpit for over 4 months now I only tried the fish and shop for the first time yesterday and I was not disappointed! After meeting a friend we decided 'chippy' was the way forward for lunch, quick service, friendly staff and was Delicious, traditional fish & chips. Highly reco
