Allison our waitress was rushed off her feet and did an excellent job. Always there when we needed her, very attentive. My main was dry, I believe it had been sat under the hotplate too long, it was barely edible. No complaints at the time as I was not paying and I didn't want to embarrass our group. Dessert was better and went down well.

We went for a Sunday roast & it was one of the best we've ever had. The service was great & the staff were very attentive. The chocolate fondant was the delicious. We'll be back!

Had a lovely lunchtime meal here, good menu and prices seemed about average. Food was out quickly and very nice. Chocolate brownie sweet was great. Happy to recommend.

The food is tasty and the staff are friendly. You can enjoy a calm atmosphere as well as the cozy environment here. Good for family and friends gathering.

I was happy there was an option to choose where we sat, as previously we were put in the dog friendly area & didn't like it. The fresh lilies & wood burning on the fire was a beautiful aroma as we entered the premises. We were delighted that turkey was back on the Sunday roast menu. Food was delicious. Our server Jade was very friendly & helpful.

I had a business lunch here. The staff were very attentive. I enjoyed the lamb skewers and a mini desert with a great flat white coffee. It's a great place for a quick business lunch. There's plenty of parking and nice seating outside.

Lynda was an excellent and attentive server. Chef Zack gave some personal recommendations which were all delicious. We highly recommend the duck parfait pate, the sticky sharing plate is a must. The burgers were delicious, chicken curry dish and lamb duo also got high praise. Sadly we had no room for dessert but we will be back! Atmosphere, great food and employees who are passionate about their job is what sets the Barge apart from other restaurants. Thank you for a great family night out.

Went today with family of eight and couldn't have asked for a better experience. Set in a lovely position ,the interior was sophisticated and modern and the outside area and conservatory was newly landscaped .The lady who served us was a star from start to finish ,so friendly and professional. Food was excellent and all delivered to us at the same time ..can't fault a thing ,just wish we lived nearer x

Service was good. The food was enjoyable - downside is that you had run out of a lot of dishes and this is now the second time this has happened to us at your pub which is disappointing. Had to send back some side dishes as they were not hot but the rest of the food was yummy and plentiful

I had popped out for lunch with a few friends and we chose The Barge, we will definitely have no issues choosing where to eat now as it was 10/10. Most of us chose a meal from the lunch menu, which is great and has a broad range of dishes which will cater to everyone plus the food was delicious and great portions too! The beautiful Jade was our waitress and she was definitely the best server I've ever encountered. Smiley, attentive & full of knowledge about the pub and the menu. She is definitely an asset to the team. We will be back xx

Food was delicious. Best fish and chips for a long time. Pork belly serving was a bit small, but tasted lovely. Our server, Lynda, was attentive.

Decent pub fair. Service was very good, our booking had been accidentally booked for the night before we went, but they were accommodating. Good selection of beers and largers available. Menu was a good size (sometimes pubs have massive menus). Food was decent and piping hot, not quite 5 stars but reasonable value for money. Place was a bit quiet for a Saturday night, which can be a good thing for people wanting a quieter drink and meal. We have been a few times now, and it's been consistently good. A tiny bit expensive but, that is a sign of the times unfortunately.

Plenty of parking. Dogs allowed. Easily found on the main road.. Outdoor seating area available. Indoor seating pleasant although felt a bit cramped. Menu tricky to navigate around, not the clearest as to what's served until when, and certainly not the largest print. On a day with 30 degrees there is no air con in there. Neither are there any fans at all, and for this simple reason we left. The best area is actually out the front where the seating area is on the grass by the trees. This is actually quite beautiful here !

Delicious food and wonderful service. There was a problem with the availability of some items but this was very hastily taken care of and an alternative was subsequently substituted. Food was delicious and very filling and drinks were just the right level of strength. Definitely would recommend the disarano sours cocktail. Will return soon. Thanks

The servers went above and beyond being very attentive throughout. My partner and I both had a roast, my partner had Belly Pork and I had Sirloin Beef. We shared the meats with were delicious especially the Pork. The only negative were the potatoes as they were dry and hard to cut but the rest of the meal made up for it. I signed up to email notifications and was given a voucher for a free dessert, we shared the crumble and custard which again was delicious.Thank you for the delicious meal.

Food was lovely, service was pretty good, dining area was very loud but was busy so can’t really complain, however there was big empty parts of the restaurant so could have spaces people out. Lynda looked after us and did a great job. I had the pork belly which was very good!

Had a lovely meal, very decent main courses, burger would have been better presented with just a small bit of salad garnish. Would have spent more but they had run out of brownies for dessert. Service was good too
