We had a meal there last night. The food was so fabulous we had to go back tonight for more. Def recommend the chilli con carne, duck noodles and sausage and mash. What a fantastic place with great food and atmosphere. Excellent customer service and superb chefs.

We had a Naming Ceremony at the pub last weekend for our baby boy and our baby niece. The day was perfect, everything was great. They gave us the control to set up for the ceremony so everything was as we wanted. The buffet was amazing, the evening meals were delicious. The staff were so welcoming and helpful, and even the sun came out to play. We had over 60 guests for the ceremony and all feedback was excellent. Well done boys �

Found this lovely pub after riding the train June 2017. Fantastic meal and service. Returned today for a birthday meal with a friend. Certainly not disappointed! Lovely evening with friends & great food.
Excellent service. Nice atmosphere. Good food with plenty of variety. We were a party of 19 and it was handled very well. The staff are very helpful and friendly. Would recommend.
Great food on our first visit hence this second visit. Was not disappointed. Great menu choices and a nice bonus Wednesday is steak night. Our whole family enjoyed their choices on both occasions.

Got off at the end of the line turned left what a little gem friendly staff very clean nice playground for kids only had sandwiches but must say they were the best sandwiches I've had in a long time very fresh bread plenty of filling gamon or cheese with a side salad & tacos or additional £1 have fries instead - fantastic 🍺🍷

Stopped in for an early lunch. Great service and nice food. If the weather had been sunny the garden area looked lovely to sit outside. The salad was really fresh with a good dressing.
Stopped here on our way back to the ferry as it had a good google rating and we were so pleased we did! The staff were very friendly and attentive, the food was excellent, all 4 of us thought the portion size and quality was great. Would 100% go back if on the island again!
What a find!!! Fabulous .... and I mean FABULOUS food and plenty of it. I had the local asparagus, goat cheese & beetroot salad with a delicious dressing and my partner had melt in the mouth lambs liver followed by an ENORMOUS slice of homemade cherry bakewll tart. Delicious!!
Huge beer garden at the back with a safe play area for kids. We stayed for 3 days and it was always busy. Harry, Ronnie and their staff are a cheerful, friendly & welcoming bunch. Great service, superb food and good value for money.

Really lovely restaurant with delicious food; family run and a training restaurant for local aspiring chefs according to the menu. Food was a tad pricey but well worth it for what we ate. They were very friendly towards our massive dog and brought out some doggy treats for him to have at the table in the pub garden.
Lovely sitting in the garden with a nice cold pint. We didn't have time to grab a bite to eat as we didn't want to miss the last steam train back to Haven Street.
Lovely pub. Made a fuss over our dogs, fresh water brought out as soon as we sat down. Great choices on menu, and daily specials board. Very enjoyable food, nicely presented. Friendly staff who couldn't have been more helpful.
Myself and my family visited the island recently and found this lovely place! The food was fantastic, great portion sizes, proper homemade food with great veggie options too. The service was amazing and it’s super dog-friendly. It’s so worth the money in there, would highly recommend, can’t wait to come back! :)
Went on the steam train that stops at Wooton. Saw signs for two pubs. Picked here which turned out to be lovely. Got seated straight away and given menus.cottage pie and a tuna melt was consumed. Very nice. Bar was a bit dark and unwelcome they seemed to concentrate on the restaurant conservatory. But was reasonable price and very nice.
Beautiful place to have your dinner, wonderful staff very helpful we had bangers and mash and chicken topper both amazing and finished with gluten free syrup sponge and trifle both gorgeous. Meal was presented well staff are faultless definitely recommend highly. Shame we don't live here or we would visit more often
A warm and friendly welcome from management and serving staff. They accommodated four of us despite not having booked for an evening meal. Fantastic food - served hot and fresh, mostly all locally sourced veg etc. Excellent value and portion sizes. We would fully recommend this pub for food, friendliness and price.
