We visited WED evening for dinner time. I though will be quiet during weekdays so did not book it. BUT it was fully booked š¢š¢
So lady staff was offered bar seat, and we had Carvery at bar table. It was around 5:30-6pm
Would be better book for dinner if you donāt want to wait or seating in the restaurant area.
Food was fresh! And staff are friendly even if busy time. And nice and clean restaurants area. We really enjoyed time in here.will be back !!
We spent around £26 inc two beverages and 2 normal size carvery!!!
Also they have plenty of car parking space š
Customer service was great and staff very accommodating of me and my partner. Seated in a lovely, quiet area and couldnāt be more helpful. When asking about my partners nut allergy our server quickly went to the kitchen and checked for us.
Abdul the manager deserves a well done. He has improved the experience of a carvery. Customer service friendliness very high standard.
Food is very good. Breakfasts at weekend presented very good an tasty.
All Staff very good service an friendly. The team work well together
Linda very professional friendly.helpful, always asks about allergies with real concern
Very clean with plenty of space an a very nice outside area to relax chill out.
We were greeted by Alana who showed us to our table and was an excellent, attentive waitress! The food was brilliant, the meat was so succulent it melted in our mouths!
They had unfortunately ran out of the puddings we ordered but our alternative choices were too very good!!
Drinks after dinner in the bar area we were served by Alfie who was a really pleasant, happy, friendly and helpful guyā¦we have had a really lovely evening!
The staff made our visit 5 stars. We didnāt book, but they kindly went above and beyond to find a seat for us. The roasties were excellent, lots of tasty choices, will be back again.
We've been to this Toby Carvery a few times, and it is always a very good experience. Staff are always friendly and accommodating. Food is always hot and delicious. I would recommend going during the week or early on a weekend as weekends can get very busy with big queues for the carvery.
Abdul served us with great eagerness and positive energy. Heās a top man and this is the best Toby Carvery Iāve ever been to. Whether youāre local to West London and Surrey or not, donāt hesitate to pop down!
Our server he was lovely. Food was nice filling. Puddings nice good choice. Price was excellent. The only downside was a long queue to get our food. Plus I nearly roasted myself waiting near the hotplates lol. My first time at a toby carvery. It was clean well run. I'll be back.
The team are just so lovely..I go with my mum often and they always find is a quiet table . Food was hot and fresh and plenty of it. I did go to the Ewell Toby but found it dirty especially the toilets and food was cold, so we will only come here now.
Excellent value for money
Lovely deserts to .
They work really hard to make it a nice experience.
Best to book in advance as does get busy.
Keep up the good work Hogsmill team š see you soon
Our server Jenna was an absolute star, and in our opinion, a great asset to this business. She went over and above to make our Toby experience a good one, and we wanted to give her the credit she deserves. She was very welcoming and pleasant from start to finish and nothing was too much trouble, as well as a lovely smile the whole time.
Abdoul was our server, and he was also very welcoming and pleasant with excellent people skills. We were there celebrating our sonās birthday and were a party of 10, we found all the staff to be very accommodating and wouldnāt hesitate to recommend this particular Toby Carvery to our friends.
Our server Jo was great with us, we were a fairly large party with 2 toddlers and she gave us the attention needed to ensure we all had drinks and were kept updated with the menu options
Another lovely experience at the carvery this evening!! Food was delicious as usual and itās the best toby weāve tried out of many. Cleo was our waitress and she was polite and tentative throughout. She is kind and made sure our experience was once again amazing!!
The only thing that ruined it was when I told a staff member that the top of the salt shaker had come off when my dad was putting salt on covering his food in salt they didn't offer a replacement meal or a discount. They obviously don't let the shakers dry properly because all of the salt is clumped up having got damp. Everything else though was what you would expect from a Toby Carvery, good food, good drink, good price. Very nice
Canāt fault it for value for money. They were doing a two for Ā£10 offer, where else can you get a full roast for Ā£5.
We arrived at the carvery counter only for serving staff to disappear and not reappear for quite a length of time. In this time, quite a queue formed. My dining companion went and asked someone if anyone was serving and was reassured someone would be there in a minute. No explanation as to what the delay was. However, this was a long minute. Eventually someone arrived, there was no apology for the wait. I did think the portions were generous though and it seems the Yorkshire puddings are now self service and the menu suggests they are free to take as many as you wish. So that is a plus point.
Barman seemed a little surly and intimidating, not sure if thatās just me...
The food was good, I had a desert too, a lime sundae which had big chunks of what was like a lime cheesecake in it and lime syrup. It was very nice.

Updating my review...
areas mentioned before much improved! Good to see. Small wait at carvery (unavoidable at times) but it was brief and a simple apology was offered. Made a difference.
Everyone else was also friendly and accommodating
We're regulars here, and the staff are always friendly and helpful, the food is reliably excellent (and great value). The pub itself is spacious and comfortable. In all, really worth a visit. A gem.
I went there for breakfast as they had a deal on . Kids eat free with every adult meal . It was surprisingly quiet which wasnāt a negative. The service was good . The ambience was warm and cosy . The buffet style eat as much as you like worked well. Everything was cooked well. You had a choice of scrambled eggs , bacon , sausages etc, etc . The extras for me were fried potatoes and Yorkshire puddings! šš¾ I did have seconds . š the r only minor feedback was that a couple of bits were luke warm. I would have to go to check if it was a one off . All in all good value .
If you want a carvery with all the trimmings, this is a lovely place to go - they have the beef, pork, lamb, Yorkshire pud and all the veg. You will definitely not go hungry here. The food was pretty good and our waiter was lovely. So i would definitely go back there.
