Friendly, helpful staff. Amazing breakfast. Good vibe. Great location. Very comfortable stay. Such a lovely start to my holiday I decided to finish there to see if it was as good as I thought. It was.
Hotel was lovely clean, rooms were roomy. Food was great and staff were very friendly. Only negative was our room faced over a road, our first night a Friday was fine. But Saturday night/ Sunday more we were woken at 1.05am by a group of men shouting on the otherside of the road this went on for over half an hour, again this happened around 4am and just before 7am a tearoom across the road, had a delivery and the banging and crashing woke us again. So if we were to go back, we would definitely make sure we didn't have a room facing the road.
This place saved my life, I couldn't get back home because of the train strike and managed to get a room here. The rooms do need upgrading, but are clean and comfortable, and at least you can open the windows, not like Premier Inn. My only criticism really, is that the rooms could be cheaper. I never give 5 stars unless there's a lift, but it's an old building and I'm sure it would be difficult to fit one. Overall, my one night stay was great.
We had Sunday lunch here and had a lovely time. The manager Lorna and her team were very patient with our three toddlers and went out of their way to accomodate us. They were amazing with providing vegan options, including vegan Yorkshire puddings, which I've never had before. Great experience, everyone happy, will defintely go back.
Dropped in for lunch today. The young guy behind the bar was wonderful so helpful and polite. The food was well presented and tasty. I had fish finger ciabata hubby had steak and cheese ciabata they both came with a small side of salad. The drinks were good and a fare price.
Great bunch of staff and very helpful.and friendly. Nice drinks and good value prices. Food ia actually very nice. Nice venue to as traditional pub but also a friendly inviting feel.

I recently stayed at the Ye Olde Talbot. Advertised as a dog hotel, I rang up and asked if I could bring my cat. They were very helpful and said yes, there was a £10 pet charge extra. Arriving I had quaint clean on suite room with refreshment amenities. They carefully checked the windows were secure before I let my cat out to explore the room. The staff were very friendly. They made sure the breakfast, which was delicious, was served timely as I had an early start to get to the cat show. They also ordered local taxis for me. The I can highly recommend if you need to stay in Worcester.
Enjoyed a few beers here last Saturday night. There's a good range of beers and ciders. Bar staff attentive and friendly.
Popped in for a drink only and enquire about food. The staff were extremely helpful and so polite. Highly recommend just on this quick visit.
