Lucky's Cafe

We went looking for an affordable breakfast spot. We found it in Lucky's Café! Deemed a local favorite judging by the Google Reviews seen, we set the GPS & on we went. Located at 102 1/2 Grove Street.. the entrance can be a little tricky at first to find. You pass 102 then immediately after it you find a small wall with black wrought iron fencing... That is the staircase to bring you down to Lucky's. The scenery walking in evokes times long passed.. an old Speakeasy with the wood, brick and concrete. A quaint and warm atmosphere to sit with friends and family to a delicious and cheap breakfast or lunch. You can carry out, take out or dine in. They have been a staple for 30 years. I hope it gets to continue delighting patrons for many more a year to come. Thank you so much for such a beautiful memory of a Sunday morning breakfast that I've had in such a long time... Also the art of the walls are beautiful. The artist I believe just passed but his talent is evident even in his eternal ripose. GB you guys! We'll be returning very soon! Miss Cipullo ❤️😁😇

We visited our son at WPI and looked up best places to eat brunch. It’s a quaint and cozy place tucked into an old brick building— lots of character and the food was delicious. Portions sizes were perfect and we would definitely visit again. I had a veggie breakfast omelet with home fries and he had a hot pastrami sandwich! There is something for everyone!

Quaint place lower level of brick building. Bring quarters for metered parking. Fruit and vegetable paintings for sale displayed on wall. Friendly staff. Coffee is not very good. Weak flavor tastes watered down. Eggs and home fries fresh tasting. Veggies used in omelette real deal. Omelette could have used more cheese. Sausage below par. French toast w fresh strawberries excellent. Wood chairs and tables. Wide board floors. Charming cups and plates. Music alters between world tunes and forties style. Doesn't seem to match the vibe.

This place should be booming! The food is excellent and prices are fair. The burgers are even better than the fix next door who overcharge for their mediocre burgers. The owner is having trouble finding workers but once the unemployment benefits return to normal they should return. You should be eating here if you're local to Worcester!
