Kyoto Japanese Restaurant

I treated my mom for a belated birthday lunch we decided to go eat at Kyoto . We both ordered the lunch - in special which was Filet Mignon & Fried Rice Vegetables and a salad 🥗. The staff were friendly and the cook ,was awesome! We had the food cooked in front of us, which was so cool ! Definitely recommend 👌 this place, it was clean inside and they were quick with the service 😀! No complaints 👌, would 100% percent go back again, and would recommend to family & friends 😊! Totally wroth your money 😀!

YUM YUM SAUCE!! Kyoto’s legacy 😁 Kyoto’s Hibachi was where we celebrated our completion of clinicals, our after vows dinner, and several birthdays and events since! Their food is great and the yum-yum sauce makes it even better. The Hibachi chefs have been so much fun to watch and interact with and I have heard that the sushi is amazing too(Not something I eat). This most recent visit was for my bday and it was not the best but the food was still great and again.. I got my yum-yum sauce. I chalk the lackluster performance and overall experience to the pandemic and lack of staffing. I’ll definitely be back to try again though because one drab visit cannot Trump a dozen great ones, especially during these crazy times! FAVORITES - YUM YUM SAUCE(ask for extra and take some home for your leftovers!)hibachi chefs, teriyaki steak(upgrade to filet is the best), and their house rice, tempura chicken HEADS UP - Make a RESERVATION if you plan to visit on a Fri/Sat night, they can get busy plus you want a guaranteed spot at the Hibachi with your fam/friends

Super good Japanese steak house. Make sure if you want hibachi that you make a reservation, as this is the only way to achieve this. They are also very strict on last call which was at 830. This is for anything!! Food or drink! I seen people turned away. Great food and plentiful portions! Pina colada was amazing!!

We didn't have a reservation, so we weren't able to get a table at the hibachi but we ordered sushi rolls. They were all pretty good, even the "basic" rolls. We ordered a 4-roll combo and the waitress asked us "do you want the soup and salad that comes with the combo? " and at first we thought it was an odd request but we soon found out why (maybe?). The Miso soup was really weak (very little hondashi, mostly water), no tofu in it. The salad was 99.5% lettuce with some off-recipe dressing (not the usual ginger dressing served with salad) but it was still refreshing and hit the spot. I'm mostly giving 5-stars because of the green-haired waitress, she was the best - her attention and communication were A+ throughout the meal.
